I find this one interesting. I see Bolton as the type of poop weasel that would keep anything he could as insurance to cover his posterior if needed later down the road. So did he really have something classified, or files that while not classified, could be embarrassing for Trump (Cthulhu only knows what would embarrass him though.) Or is Trump just being vindictive? All options seem valid at this point.

I think it might also be a "fishing expedition" by the Trump administration. (So, vindictive but with a special purpose)

Remember that both Biden and Pence had classified documents in their possession not because they were purposefully hiding them but through honest error. And Bolton has been around the political scene for a long time (serving republican administrations all the way back to the days of Regan/Bush). So they are launching the raid on the hope that he has some classified file from the Regan administration stuck behind some cabinet that they can point to and say "look! Security risk!"

Having actually worked in a coal plant here in Australia- anyone who claims that wind is ugly on anesthetic grounds is lying or has never been near coal...Its filthy stuff, and despite their best efforts, it makes a huge mess anywhere near it....

Reminds me of how disappointing my trip to DC in spring of 23 was. Took our son to see the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum and some of the sites. We were there for a week. I was promised a Mad Max dystopian hellscape of roving gangs looting, murdering and or destroying everything, citizens cowering in fear, police besieged in isolated pockets of resistance against the inevitable flood of crime.

Instead we were able to use the easily accessible subway, walked to and dined at several restaurants, even hit up a Trader Joe's for snacks. We even found and hung out at a local hobby shop for a bit. Walked to and around the National Mall. The only issue was it was spring break and there were a few dozen tour busses packed with high schoolers on school trips. Damn teenagers wondering around taking pictures and learning about our capital's history, can't have that happen, it's pure anarchy.
