I thought she was upset that he was claiming Epstein introduced them, but either way I don't think she's thinking this through. I'm not sure what the discovery process would show, but I doubt it would be good.

I'm calling that disbelief the result of a paradigm difference. What you're seeing is actually a logical continuation from the equivocation that is "All politicians are corrupt/bad," which Republicans have been pushing hard to get the population to internalize and have mostly been seeking to demonstrate by example. It encourages the worst among us to become politicians and then protects them if they succeed, while also discouraging the best of us and undermining them from doing good even if they do end up becoming a politician.

Btw. one of the reason Trump is blabbing unchecked is .. he IS blabbing unchecked. Yes, it is media job, to some extent .. it is also job of the opposition. And there is quite a silence, certainly compared to the amount of "content" Trump generates. Newson is heard from time to time, but that's about it.

The narrative is that ICE, ICE Baby was rounding up "the worst of the worst" but the reality is that this is intimidation pure and simple. It's the future and we should get used to it.
