i think the 2nd biggest myth is that the troops are all heroes that will lay it all down for the constitution

and you’ll see that as they get sent into the big cities to enforce trump’s agenda.

Betting a lot of the homeless will purposeless get jailed. "Arrest me, Donny, I'm homeless!" They will get free, government-provided shelter and food long term. Better than the mean streets. The jails will be filled! Accidental socialism.

This may be more of a feature of presidential systems of government. Parliamentary systems may escape this fate.
