That's a bad idea. Pets are given drugs and food that wild prey won't get, and they won't be able to control what's going into their predators' bodies.

I'm sure the zoo knows their science well enough to have considered that aspect. What they don't seem to have considered is the ethical aspect.

I did wonder whether they would uphold the decision about her not being liable for Lawrence's legal costs.
It was a masterpiece of legal reasoning, not quite Marbury v Madison but.....

Meh. They have already taken the ethical aspect of keeping wild animals in captivity into consideration. . .

The 'lion' sighted in Clare was in fact a dog....
That's a new one, isn't it? They're usually cats, all the sightings of lions and tigers. (Over here, sightings of exotic big cats are very rare, but around 98% of the sightings of lynxes and wolves are just cats and dogs. There are quite a few lynxes and wolves around, but they are decidedly shy.)

Eye witnesses.....

Some very local news from around the corner from where I'm working:

A truck overturned on the junction of the South Link Road, Albert Road, Eglinton St and the Old Station Road this morning causing the Albert road to be closed (It wasn't reduced to one lane). The truck has just now been righted and is in the process of being removed.

The Island experienced several breakthroughs since Cyclone Seth in 2022.

The northern tip of the 34-kilometre-long island plays a crucial role in protecting Golden Beach in the Caloundra region from severe coastal events.

The emergency works fixed what is referred to as the "second breakthrough" with further work to be undertaken on the original breakthrough, which occurred in 2022.

This bastard was school chaplain when I was at high school. Thankfully, as one of the small number of non-catholics in attendance I didn't have much contact with him, although I do recall him making the odd mildly inappropriate joke. One of my best mates (and the guy who sits next to me at work) were both altar boys during his tenure but, fortunately, neither of them come to any harm.

First link relates to his new conviction, second one gives more of a background.

Pepsi just released a Canada-exclusive maple cola. We put it to the taste test

OK. Apparently! If I see some on my next grocery shop, I'll buy some and let you know.
