Trump's Second Term

Things beautiful to Trump:
Teenage girls, golf courses and whales.
He is kind of a whale.

"Windmills" are already here, stupid.

He can see windmills! Shame!!

Trump: "Today, I'm playing the best course I think in the world. Turnberry. Even though I own it, it's probably the best course in the world. And I look over the horizon and I see 9 windmills at the end of the 18th. I say, isn't that a shame?"

For once I agree with him, it is a shame that they can't fit windmills along the entire perimeter of his course.

And of course ;) this is the entire reason he is against windmills. So yep the entire energy policy of the USA was ripped up because he can see 9 windmills at the end of one of his golf courses.

Did he jump on a jetski, grab his lance and go tilting at them?

They won't let you bury propellers.

Trump: And the other thing I say to Europe: we will not allow a windmill to be built in the United States. They're killing us. They're killing the beauty of our scenery. Our beautiful plains. I’m not talking about airplanes… they won’t let you bury the propellers.

He's president of the United States but still talks about a nefarious 'they'🙄.

The 'free speech' president

Revoke the Network licenses!
Wanna bet on how long it takes before OAN, FOX News, and a few select other news channels are the only ones permitted in the USA? Perhaps with CNN and the others broadcasting from across a border?

The article is confusing. It says the US expects Canadian companies to "retroactively remit duties" back to 2023, which sounds like cancelling or refunding a fee that's been charged. It mentions "stumpage fees" for harvesting on crown land and that the US objects to that as a government subsidy. I wonder if that is what they mean.

But calling it a government subsidy is confusing too, since usually that's a term used to object to other governments subsidising their export industries to make them artificially competitive. This sounds like the opposite, a fee on production which goes to the Canadian government.

It sounds a bit like telling the pizza restaurant what you're going to pay them in future and then saying you object to their tipping policy so you also want the last couple of years tips back too.

The complaint is that the 'stumpage' is too low compared to the cost of growing trees on private land there the US. Most farmed trees in Canada are on state owned land.

Yeah, windmills are unAmerican... 🤔

Is that actually real? I have to admit my ability to spot fake American political messages is at an all time low.

If Trump was a creation of the Jim Henson Creature Workshop it would make a certain amount of sense. Actually, didn't he guide Jennifer Connelly through the Labyrinth?

We're not even going to pretend we're not Nazis anymore. He's a GOP candidate for Governor of California.

He also wants illegals to marry incels. So much for 'poisoning the blood of our country'.

ETA since I read further down the comments:
Why do so many of the 'Master Race' look like they spent their entire school life being held by the ankles with their head in the toilet. And like they haven't washed their hair since they finally got it out..
You're not the only one who's noticed.

It's real and Kyle Langford is running for the Republican nomination for governor of California. Yahoo News reports,
Langford said he was proud of his "German ancestry" and called Auschwitz a "great work camp," sparking controversy...[Because Democrats holding a huge majority in California] allowed him to focus on a campaign centered around explosive comments, with antisemitism being one of his main points when trying to show himself as “disruptive.” His comments on Auschwitz came as a “solution” to the homelessness and unemployment crisis in California, while he also called the death camp a “beautiful work camp.” Yahoo News article link''

He also suggested requiring undocumented immigrant women to "marry incels" in order to avoid deportation.

The Onion announced they're shutting down. They feel they can no longer compete with reality.

It's hard for me to believe trump sits down and cuts-and-pastes some of the memes that appear on his Truth Social account, for one thing I'd be surprised if he even knew how to do it. But at the same time, I don't believe the president of the United States is letting people post on his personal account -- on a social media site he owns -- and has no idea or even interest in what's being posted. Here's what the Independent UK recently reported:

Independent also reports, trump has been filmed dictating posts to both Scavino and Harp. But according to the anonymous White House official, many of the posts written late at night or early in the morning are written by trump himself
while he watches TV.
or while he's falling asleep. Remember "covfefe"? Also remember when that was the silliest thing he'd done that we'd heard at the time?
