Trump's Second Term

B.C.'s Independent Wood Processors Association says in a statement that the U.S. Commerce Department's decision this week to raise duties also includes a requirement for Canadian companies to retroactively remit duties for products shipped to the United States since Jan.1, 2023.
I don’t understand: how are Canadian companies going to retroactively pay tariffs? They are not paying tariffs at all. It is the U.S. importers who pay the tariffs, and who will go bankrupt.

The article is confusing. It says the US expects Canadian companies to "retroactively remit duties" back to 2023, which sounds like cancelling or refunding a fee that's been charged. It mentions "stumpage fees" for harvesting on crown land and that the US objects to that as a government subsidy. I wonder if that is what they mean.

But calling it a government subsidy is confusing too, since usually that's a term used to object to other governments subsidising their export industries to make them artificially competitive. This sounds like the opposite, a fee on production which goes to the Canadian government.

It sounds a bit like telling the pizza restaurant what you're going to pay them in future and then saying you object to their tipping policy so you also want the last couple of years tips back too.

The pizza resteraunt should just be grateful that they aren't being shot up by a MAGA/Q nut with a rifle trying to liberate non-existing children from the basement they don't have. Pay up or maybe rumors about your basement get started, knowwhadimean?

His list of prosecutions just got bigger.
Obama, Beyonce, Oprah, Sharpton and Harris. I wonder wheat they all have in common?

Donald J. Trump
@realDonald Trump
I'm looking at the large amount of money owed by the Democrats, after the Presidential Election, and the fact that they admit to paying, probably illegally, Eleven Million Dollars to singer Beyoncé for an ENDORSEMENT (she never sang, not one note, and left the stage to a booing and angry audience!), Three Million Dollars for "expenses," to Oprah, Six Hundred Thousand Dollars to very low rated TV "anchor," Al Sharpton (a total lightweight!), and others to be named for doing, absolutely NOTHING! These ridiculous fees were incorrectly stated in the books and records. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PAY FOR AN ENDORSEMENT. IT IS TOTALLY ILLEGAL TO DO SO. Can you imagine what would happen if politicians started paying for people to endorse them. All hell would break out! Kamala, and all of those that received Endorsement money, BROKE THE LAW. They should all be prosecuted! Thank you for your attention to this matter

Alas, not Donny's thumbs - no spelling mistakes or grammar faults in a long post. I feel these were his thoughts at some time, though, now filtered and amplified through one of the Goebbels-lite offsiders. Guessing this has been AI-fash-generated while the orange fart-bag walked around a Scottish golf course?? An attempt at a distraction from THE EPSTEIN FILES, anyway.

trump shares meme.

Daily Beast reports:
President Donald Trump shared a deranged meme showing former President Barack Obama behind the wheel of the white Ford Bronco in O.J. Simpson’s 1994 car chase. The meme, which has a watermark from the pro-Trump account @grandoldmemes, features Trump and an unflatteringly edited version of Vice President JD Vance as police officers pursuing Obama. Daily Beast article link

Think about it. The above was posted online by the president of the United States. :boggled:

Can we please now accept that the "@realDonald Trump" channel, even though it is supposed to be Trump's personal pipeline to the people, is in reality a sewer outlet managed by a team of ◊◊◊◊-stirring ◊◊◊◊-posters who work at the direction of Trump's personal propaganda team. Chances are high they live and work in a bunker in St Petersburg, with Putin posters on the walls. And given this, can we please not re-post that crap here?

I'm actually considering that we could maybe post a bit fewer video links since they automatically unfurl and that takes up a lot of space on each page, especially when people post several links and videos in a row. Maybe instead we could use inline URLs more, as in 'Dump visited the Forbidden City and ate an entire snack buffet that was meant to be for all the people visiting and then started writing on the walls with a sharpie and while they berated him for that he pooped on the floor'!

As for not sharing the stupid ◊◊◊◊ Dump and his handlers (or russian ghostwriters) post on his Xitter, I'm undecided. Maybe just leave them be since we already know he's an immature toddler who keeps posting childish photoshopped images on the official POTUS Xitter account.

Trump paying someone?

I don't think so.
Okay, hiring and then stiffing after receiving the good or service.
;)

It was Obama!

MARKWAYNE MULLIN: Remember, there was a sweetheart plea deal that was struck in 2009, way before Trump was even considering to be in office, under the Obama administration
TAPPER: No. It was 2008. The US attorney at the time was a guy named Alex Acosta. He was a Bush appointee. He went on to become Trump's secretary of labor
MULLIN: Who was in office at the time?
TAPPER: George W Bush
MULLIN: No. 2009 was when the case came out, and Obama was in office at the time
TAPPER: Not true.

It's hard for me to believe trump sits down and cuts-and-pastes some of the memes that appear on his Truth Social account, for one thing I'd be surprised if he even knew how to do it. But at the same time, I don't believe the president of the United States is letting people post on his personal account -- on a social media site he owns -- and has no idea or even interest in what's being posted. Here's what the Independent UK recently reported:
According to a White House official who spoke to The Independent on condition of anonymity, Trump’s social media posting is still managed in part by Dan Scavino...who ended Trump’s first term as deputy chief of staff for communications, still holds a position as an assistant to the president with the title of deputy White House chief of staff. And he still has access to Trump’s Truth Social and other social media accounts. But the days where he was the main author of Trump’s posts are over. Now, Scavino works with other loyal staffers, including Natalie Harp, the former right-wing broadcaster who sits close to the Oval Office as one of Trump’s closest aides. Yahoo News link to Independent article

Independent also reports, trump has been filmed dictating posts to both Scavino and Harp. But according to the anonymous White House official, many of the posts written late at night or early in the morning are written by trump himself while he watches TV.

They won't let you bury propellers.

Trump: And the other thing I say to Europe: we will not allow a windmill to be built in the United States. They're killing us. They're killing the beauty of our scenery. Our beautiful plains. I’m not talking about airplanes… they won’t let you bury the propellers.

The 'free speech' president

Revoke the Network licenses!

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump
Networks aren't allowed to be political pawns for the Democrat Party. It has become so outrageous that, in my opinion, their licenses could, and should, be revoked! MAGA
