Donald Trump does not lie. Donald Trump does not tell the truth. Donald Trump says whatever he needs to say to "win" whatever conversation he is in. Sometimes that means saying things that are true, sometimes that means saying things that are false. The key thing to remember about Donald Trump is that in his heart of hearts, he genuinely does not see the difference.
 
As of July 18 Donald's overall approval rating averages 42% across major polls (e.g., YouGov/Economist: 41%, Gallup: 45%, Rasmussen: 49%), with disapproval at 55%.

Yeah I'd call him talented if a middle-school student did it (and I'm not knocking that, I have some very sophisticated art from talented and well-taught 7th graders.) Anyway, it's rather charming.

It's so jarring to me that Johnson would cite a CNN story to begin with! They decry it all as "fake news," but he and his minions will cite the MSM plenty when it goes their way.

Doing some very rough math, this isn't very damning. If the Lolita Express were filled with beautiful adult women that would be titillating but not creepy. But then it probably wouldn't be known as "The Lolita Express."

ETA: Melania was 28 when he met her. A whole different - ballgame? He may have some kinks but he seems pretty straightforward. He is attracted to grown women. He met Marla when she was about 21, but it wasn't until 8 years later that she had a kid by him, then married him. I think maybe thirty-ish is his sweet spot. But older is OK, if they preserve their looks. He'd ogle teenagers pageant entrants, but IMO that was more about getting away with something/flexing power/being a "bad boy." If he's attracted it's not BECAUSE they are teens, but because he enjoys picturing how they will develop.

His sexual creepiness is apparent in many, many ways but I don't think he's literally a "pedophile."

How soon till we get all the stories of trump with the teens? This can't go on for weeks. It's not really anyone's favorite topic. I don't mind imagining people, regular people, having sex, but then Trump...ewwww.

It's well known that Trump dated 19 year old Gabriela Sabatini when he was 43. He obviously wasn't gonna be public with the youngest women. But his sexualization of younger women, including his own daughter, is pretty suggestive. Given that the age of consent is 16-18 depending on location, I don't think it is going out on a limb to say he is/was a pedophile.

This is what I don't get about Republicans and magamutts. According to trump, Biden was the worst president we ever had and he, trump, is the greatest. So why were Biden's approval ratings higher? trump never discusses that. He won't. His whole narrative is based on lies. Yet Republicans accept all the lies at face value with nary a complaint. How do Republicans sleep at night? Isn't lying bad, self-defeating?

We've never had a president that behaved anything close to the way trump carries on. What might be scariest to me is how many people -- the ones who know trump is a liar, probably the worst president the USA has ever had -- have come to seem ambivalent about the whole charade.

I think half of them are in so deep (and they know it) that to save their egos, they have to fully buy in. The other half are truly in a cult.
Even Alex Jones is shocked at how Trump is behaving right now, he likened it to committing suicide. And maybe it is intentional suicide, I would not be at all surprised if he told his followers to drink his latest venture "Trump Koolaide" any day now...the popcorn is in the microwave.
