Trump's Second Term

Well, yeah, we're not seeing growth.
They're Biden's job numbers. If there had been considerable growth, they'd have been Trump's.

Biden's presidency was so bad that it's taken months and the malign influence is still there. OTOH Trump's first term was so great that Biden was having good job growth four years after it ended - all due to Trump.

Nah, the Cuba hostility was the result of 1) Cuban immigrants, 2) Electoral College math, and 3) Florida being the biggest battleground state. Every Senator and Congressman wants to be President, and none of them want to start a presidential run five points down in Florida, so they would all either say Free Cuba, or keep their heads down. Not as much of an effect now that Florida is becoming redder and redder, and Cuban immigrants make up a smaller portion of voters, their role as "kingmaker" is reduced.
In reality it hasn't, but through the magic of extreme gerrymandering and voter disenfranchisement (and I wouldn't be surprised if ballot stuffing were involved), it has come to look so.

First item on 2028 Democractic president's list: raize Alligator Alcatraz. It only took 8 weeks to dump things on the site and build a fence.
I think if they want to rescue the country, a full on denazification programme will be the first priority. That is, if a Democrat ever becomes US president again.

There's a nasty rumor that Trump kept a copy of Mein Kampf on his bedside table, But actually it was hollowed out and inside it was Mao's little red book.
The truth was it was a copy of the compilations of his after dinner rants in the wolf's lair, compiled by a sycophant and badly translated into English after the war by a French nazi.

They were talking on r/conservative talking about removing the sale of federal land from the BBB ... and someone said something about accommodating growth in the U.S. population. I asked, how are you seeing growth? Fertility is below replacement numbers and you want to kick out all the immigrants. Any bill to increase legal immigration is going to fail, I 99.99 percent guarantee it. The xenophobia is too strong.

How is the U.S. population going to grow? I was genuinely curious. I didn't get a response, not surprising because my posts are often taken down after a few hours, but ... where do they think the growth is coming from? Romanian-style breeding programs?

I realize this thread is talking about economic growth, not population. But somehow this fellow thought there would be more Americans in the future and I could not see how he got there.
The population is going to to grow through a policy of ending education, demechanising the economy and significantly reducing living standards so that the vast majority will be at barely subsistence levels.

Back to the days of parents having 5 to 10 babies, expecting that at least half of them would survive to school age, and none of them would be able to read or write.

How is the US population going to grow?
By forcibly assigning women to incels.
And making a permanently and generationally extremely poor underclass for the masters to exploit mercilessly. All those poor African countries with such high birth rates provide a wonderful model to selectively draw from for what drives birthrates, right?

And do what with the tens of thousands of people who have been held there ?

Any attempt to reintegrate them back into US society will be met with howls of Democrats being soft on illegals.

Three and a half years in a concentration camp will have had a huge effect on the inmates. They will require a lot of support - support that a majority of the US population have shown they don't want to give to brown people.

Yeah, we all remember similar howling whenever a Democrat's tried to shut down Guantanamo. "But but what do we do with the horrible people who are kept there now?!"

Well, Musk was doing his best to deal with that problem, but now they want to deport him too!

Totally deranged.
Why does anyone think this is normal for anyone to post, not just the President.
This tells you all you need to know about Donald.

Donald J. Trump

@realDonaldTrump

Rep. Jamie Raskin, a third rate Democrat politician, has no idea what is in our fantastic Tax Cut Bill, nor would he understand it if he did. This DOPE has been consistently losing to me for YEARS, and I love watching his ugly face as he is forced to consistently concede DEFEAT TO TRUMP — And tonight should be another of those nights. Raskin is a bad politician, and a TOTAL LOSER!

Could be straight out of the movie Idiocracy.
And it will only get worse.
Once you've opened the pandora's box, the archaic parts of human nature will embrace this kind of "fast food for the brain".
And it seems like many people in the U.S. are especially susceptive or even embrace this simplification and wrestlification of politics.
