Trump's Second Term

In today’s episode of What Are They Thinking: “If you don’t see a hurricane coming… does it really exist?”

The Dept of Defense is shutting down its weather satellite program. No more data. No more updates. Meteorologists are scrambling—and we’re heading into peak storm season.

Brilliant timing.

Why spend all that money when all you need is a sharpie for Trump to mark the hurricanes on a map based on his infallible instincts?

Isn't it nice to see some people think there is a constitution...
Isn't it convenient, too, for the deportation apologists to stress that illegal immigration is a crime, until it comes time to try for it, and then suddenly, oh no, it's a civil matter so no right to counsel and proof and all that stuff.

Anyway, those who think law and order are the same thing are in for some surprises.

None of those 12 million matter one jot to the GOP. If they didn't want to have their healthcare jeopardised then they should have been far richer.

These undeserving poor are simply a dead weight on the country and deserve a premature death due to a lack of healthcare.
And a significant percentage of them will be persuaded its all the Democrats fault when they go bankrupt because they got sick.

Leaving aside what will happen to civilians, isn't it rather important for the armed forces to know about major weather events to avoid their very expensive ships and aircraft getting pounded to scrap?

And its not like that's a theoretical event:

Not even a flicker of a blush when she says this.

Q: Can you respond to the CBO estimate that the Senate bill would increase the deficit by nearly $3.3 trillion?

LEAVITT: This is one of the most fiscally conservative pieces of legislation that has ever made its way through Capitol Hill

Q: You mentioned the dangerous wildlife at the Alligator Alcatraz. Is that a design feature?

LEAVITT: When you have illegal murderers and rapist and heinous criminals in a detention facility surrounded by alligators, yes, I do think that's a deterrent for them to try to escape

Japan has a rice shortage but won't take American rice or something.

To show people how spoiled Countries have become with respect to the United States of America, and I have great respect for Japan, they won’t take our RICE, and yet they have a massive rice shortage. In other words, we’ll just be sending them a letter, and we love having them as a Trading Partner for many years to come.

Failing Forbes Magazine, Sleazebags! It's like a bad disease apparently

@realDonaldTrump
Not that it really matters, but a terribly untalented writer for badly failing Forbes Magazine, Dan Alexander, who probably can’t get a meaningful job in the business, has written so inaccurately about me that it is ridiculous. Many others also, the media is mostly Fake News, but Forbes doesn’t even try to get things right. I haven’t spoken to these SleazeBags in years, they don’t want the facts, and they’re so inaccurate (purposely!) about everything. I would have thought Forbes would be DEAD by now, but it continues to hang around like a bad disease. Isn’t it owned by a hostile nation? Anyway, that’s what happens when you have bad reporters with evil intentions. Eventually the publication dies. I’ve happily seen it over, and over, again!

The FED should be ashamed.

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump
Jerome “Too Late” Powell, and his entire Board, should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this to happen to the United States. They have one of the easiest, yet most prestigious, jobs in America, and they have FAILED — And continue to do so. If they were doing their job properly, our Country would be saving Trillions of Dollars in Interest Cost. The Board just sits there and watches, so they are equally to blame. We should be paying 1% Interest, or better!
