Ed Israel/US Attacks Iran /Yet Another Country/Iran

Can Netanjahu afford a ceasefire?

Looks like the war brought up some painful facts, namely that few people have personal shelters adequate for multiple days in a row, maybe personal shelters are shoddily made and didn't protect, people were left out of public shelters, etc.
And the massive censorship made it impossible for Israeli to know what's been hit.

I'm not sure if " we killed some Iranian who have already been replaced, and bombed a site where enriched uranium used to be" is sufficient cause for celebration.

If anything, the war has shown how vulnerable Israel is.

24 hours?
Sounds like the now routine: "can you please give us time to reload and go to the toilet?" level of commitment to the cessation of hostilities.

One problem with assassinating leaders and attacking command and control infrastructure is it makes negotiating and enforcing a ceasefire difficult. Like those Japanese soldiers left isolated thinking the war against the US continues. There may be no one who has command authority in Gaza and command authority in Iran may not be unified. Senior commanders may be 'underground' and not reachable.

How predictable.
Israel had no intention of keeping to a ceasefire.

Israel's defence minister accuses Iran of violating the ceasefire, two hours after agreeing to the deal brokered by Donald Trump and Qatar

Israel Katz vows to "respond forcefully to Iran's violation of the ceasefire with intense strikes against regime targets in the heart of Tehran"

Minutes before, Israel said it had identified missiles launched from Iran - Tehran has denied launching any missiles, according to its state TV

By some accounts, Israel understood that they would be allowed to bomb 12 hrs longer than Iran, because that is how ceasefire work if you are Israel.

Trump, obviously. Time travelling bastard.
No, it was the US of A, hero nation to the ignorant and belligerent. To the overthrow of elected governments, (remember Chile?), we can add the Marines going into "combat" in Central America to protect the defenseless United Fruit Company from mad hordes seeking to be paid for their labor. The refugees from that region get to die on Texas barbed wire hidden in places where families cross. Do we sense a pattern here?

Continuing from above, theists in atheist drag have enticing counterparts in overachieving Zionists, who started out as atheists in theist drag (anyone do their history homework yet?), and then and today continue to also be Western Europeans in Semite drag (genes don't lie, oops). These Queens sure are queer in their own special way. If I put on one of their manna-bow T-shirts and bow, I get the absolute right to toss a West Bank Palestinian out and take his land. Swell! Drag queens rule!

Yoo-hoo! Can you spare some coin, sailor boy? I'm god's chosen, so no BJ after, sorry. Just fork it over in awe of my divine nature. :cheerleader2

The ceasefire with Iran is tenuously holding. The ceasefire with Lebanon is intact. The ceasefire with Syria is stabilized. The HAMAS is still trying to get their prisoners in Israeli custody released and probably will go for a deal that includes ALL the remaining Israeli captives (including Hadar Goldin's remains -- held from over a decade ago).

All in all, Iran launched a “final salvo” against Israel and Be'ersheba suffered a direct hit, but things now seem to be calm.
(Israel, for its part, went after a few final targets, including a nuclear scientist, Mohammad Reza Sadeghi, and blasting the HQ of security forces, killing hundreds of Basij officers).

Iran is at square one with its nuclear program.
Straits of Hormuz remain navigible.
I'm enjoying my Tuesday.

Trump saying both Israel and Iran violated his big beautiful ceasefire.
Taco Tits is getting desperate. He thought he was just joining the lunchroom bully in picking on the weird kid no one likes, but ever since someone pointed out the Strait of Hormuz is right there and Iran can shut down the world's fuel supply at any time, nukes or no, he really wants a way to chicken out like usual. Hereby declaring a BS ceasefire that starts at different times for two parties known for disregarding ceasefires and then acting shocked and offended when neither party ceases fire isn't the worst way to disentangle US involvement, to be completely fair to the stopped clock.

Oh and also because the US strike didn't do crap because Iran had two full days of warning to evacuate their nuclear material. I wonder what Signalled them a strike was coming.

Everyone's happy.

Bibi is happy, he bombed the ◊◊◊◊ out of Iran.
Khamenei is happy, he rocketed the ◊◊◊◊ out of Israel.
Trump is happy, he penetrated deep into Khamenei's mountainous behind.
Khamenei is happy, he drove the U.S. away without even hitting them.
Putin is happy, he can keep his Terrorproxy, no regime change.
Xi is happy, Iran needs new weapon systems and Putin has his hands full.

Yes, if they did moved out their 900 lbs of 60% HEU and kept it safe, Trump kinda failed.

New centrifuges can probably be built easily and quickly, or just imported, and Iran will have a nuke in a few weeks.

Mission Not Accomplished.
