Ed Israel/US Attacks Iran /Yet Another Country/Iran

What, you think they wouldn't stoop that low? Looks like you already bought a bridge.
Israel has placed the Mossad headquarters in a densely populated area, using civilians as shields.
Iron Dome systems are in the middle of cities.
How could they stoop that low?

Israel rarely misses.
I didn't claim they missed. But there's also no evidence that they directly hit the hospital either. The evidence I've seen is that the damage to the hospital comes from proximity to whatever was directly hit, and not from a direct hit on the hospital itself.

if they didn't target the first one, they surely didn't work hard to avoid hitting it again; and the second one; and all the others.
Most hospitals in Gaza have been destroyed by the IDF, all have been damaged. There is a history of the IDF hitting hospitals - why would they know not to do in Iran what they do routinely in Gaza?
Your claim that Israel is not actually targeting civilian infrastructure requires the IDF to refuse to learn anything from past mistakes.
Which would be in line with the fact that few IDF soldiers have faced any consequences whatsoever for killing aid workers and doctors, the worst punishment so far being to be temporally dismissed.

Don't think that the IDF should not just not hit Hospitals, but actively avoid them, if they hit them in the past, try to make sure they won't do so again?

Hercules and I were talking about the Iranian hospital, not the Gaza hospitals.

Perahaps because the Iranian military doesn't operate from hospitals? Gaza and Iran are not equivalent. There's no reason military operations would be the same. For example, I think you will notice a marked lack of Iranians attempting to attack Israel or Israeli forces with mortars. You get one guess as to why.

I didn't make that claim. I claimed that Israel didn't directly hit that hospital, and therefore there was no reason to think that they targeted that hospital. I have no inside knowledge of Israel's targeting choices or policies.

Seriously, can you knock it off with the straw men already?

NBC News says the IDFascists targeted the hospital.

🔻

We know a lot about Israel's targeting choices - namely that they leave it to A.I. with little or no human second guessing

NBC News says the IDFascists targeted the hospital.
No they didn't. NBC News says that the Iranian Red Cross claimed the IDF targeted the hospital (a claim that they do not substantiate). Can you understand the difference?

NBC News would not post such a thing unless they verified it and felt it was legitimate newsworthy. They dont post bull ◊◊◊◊.

Oh look, Israel is desperate to convince the USA to join them in this war, cuz they want Americans to fight their wars for them. Again.

Yelling and screaming that it would be "anti-Semitic" for the USA to not join the war in 3...2..1... Right @Ziggurat ?
What wars has the USA fought for Israel?

1948? No.
Suez Crisis? No.
Six Day War? No.
Yom Kippur War? No.
1982 War? No.
Gaza? No.

You live in this weird fictional universe where you assume people must behave in a certain way because the alternative is inconceivable to you, even though there's no evidence that they behave that way.

NBC News posted that the Iranian Red Cross made a claim. NBC News is very explicit that the claim is being made by the Iranian Red Cross. NBC News DOES NOT say that they corroborated this claim, they ONLY say that the Iranian Red Cross made the claim. So, let's assume that NBC News is being completely honest, since I have no reason to suspect them of lying. What does that mean? That means that the IRC actually made this claim, that NBC News did not invent it themselves, and that they did not attribute a claim made by someone else to the IRC. THAT is the factual obligation that NBC News has to the story as reported. Assuming this is true (which I'm perfectly happy doing), does this mean that the IRC is correct? No, it does not. Does this mean that NBC News verified the claims of the IRC? No, it does not. News organizations commonly report on CLAIMS made by important people or organizations even when they have not verified the claims themselves, because sometimes the claim itself can be newsworthy.

You would have to be an idiot to think that news organizations never report claims as claims without first verifying them. It happens all the bloody time. And there isn't even anything inherently wrong in doing so. What is wrong (and stupid) is to treat a claim as if it's been verified when it hasn't been.

I can't even find a story of a Tehran hospital being hit on nbcnews.com... I see a story about an Israeli hospital. Could you be ever so kind and give us a link?
I linked to it upthread, post #586. The hospital in question is in Iran, but not Tehran.

which of these wars didn't depend on military, financial, economic and political support from the US?

without the US blocking every resolution against Israel in the UN and Security Council, Israel would never have managed to grow to its territorial, population and economic size.

Without US support in 1973, Israel would not exist today.

The Iraq Invasion in 2003 was mostly to appease Zionist and Neo-Conservative warmongers, and to fulfill the Zionist policy document of "A Clean Break".

The USA has never "fought a war for Israel. "
it is doing so, currently, in Gaza and Iran, as Israel could not do so with overwhelming US support.
And it would have long ago become an isolated pariah state without the US covering for it in the UN, and punishing countries in opposition to Israel.
Arguably, the Iraq war was mostly for Israel's benefit - it certainly wasn't a benefit for the US.
