Then he announced his intention to target only Democratic-run cities in blue states for immigration enforcement for nakedly partisan reasons, while ignoring Texas and Florida, two of the top three states with the highest population of undocumented immigrants.

I’m not sure what is more embarrassing. That you credulously parrot MAGA propaganda or that you’re not up to date on the most recent version.

And if they get uppity & seek redress, or agree to testify against exploitative bosses, Herc's fine with ICE picking them up at the courthouse when they go to testify and deporting them. Great for punishing the exploited & protecting the exploiters.

This forum helped me come to the conclusion that Republicans have no interest in addressing illegal immigration in any way, but are interested in ensuring that illegal immigrants are present in the economy, and are ripe for exploitation.

I'm sure the current administrations misuseof ICE has been the greatest asset to the expoliters of immigrants since the smuggling gang, hell, they can even threaten legal migrants with them!

If the GOPers and MAGArs do not immediately demand Trump completely reverse his exemption of farm workers and hotel workers and restaurant workers from immigration enforcement, then they are proved to be absolutely hypocrite liars who don't give a damn about the immigration issue. It's really disgusting that day would allow an exemption so as to make sure their poll numbers are not hurt.

No, I don't accept it and it must be stopped. I think anytime an American citizen is detained by ICE and he claims to be a citizen and they refuses to thoroughly investigate the claim, civil damages are in order.

They don't. They usually pay FICA and income taxes. And frequently do not receive Social Security, Unemployment or other benefits. The idea that illegal immigrants are a drain on the budget or economy is not just laughably dishonest, it is sad. They commit fewer crimes than native or legal immigrants. They must remain under the radar and are frequently preyed upon.
