Trump's Second Term

The last time the US did that to Iran we ended up with the Ayatollah's. I'm sure THIS time it will be better.
After all, the regime change headed by the US in Iraq and Afghanistan are shining examples.
And of course helping the Taliban take power in Afghanistan (the first time), laying the groundwork for ISIS in Iraq, and making it possible for the the Taliban to take power (the second time).
None of this is going to encourage the Iranians to 'make a deal' as Trump demands, which would probably amount to do exactly what Netanyahu wants and maybe you won't get bombed again unless he thinks he needs a distraction again.

The Fortunate Son thing reminds me of when Trump's 2016 campaign used Pink Floyd's The Wall, not realizing that the album is about mental illnesses and isolation. They should have just gone straight to Dogs or Pigs (Three Different Ones). At this point I wouldn't be surprised if Trump had a rally where he walked out onto the stage to Fiddle About by The Who.

Why not just go straight for Denis Leary's "◊◊◊◊◊◊◊"?

The original version of one of them - Raving and Drooling - would probably be more apt...

Some terrible crime happens. GM guy: "This is what happens when Ford guys don't get their way."

I don't even know what point he thinks he's making, beyond "I am a contemptible dick".
"This is what happens when white and probably cis men don't get their way."
Gee, so many ways one can make that point, almost as if...

This proves they put real effort into the parade, because it takes a lot of work to make tanks driving past look boring.
:dl:
Where to even begin. That the tanks are far apart, that the bleachers are nearly empty, that I didn't notice any MAGA paraphernalia, or the people casually strolling down the street as if they were on their way to their desk from the restroom at their workplace, with strong 'I can't wait until my shift is over' energy?

I don't know what you mean. There hasn't been a thronging, exuberant crowd as massive as that since Trump's inaugurations, both of which were more impressively and eagerly attended than each other and way more than that other guy. Boo, that guy.
