Merged Due process in the US

The claims that Abrego Garcia is guilty of the crimes of which he’s being accused. You have uncritically accepted his guilt based on claims made by a lawless administration.
So you're saying the DOJ indictment is baseless and has no reliable Probable Cause? Will Garcia's attorney call for all charges to be dismissed by the judge?

Excellent. He's finally getting due process as is his right under Articles 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, to which the United States is a co-author and signatory.
If you're talking about the deported guy who got brought back to stand trial on human trafficking charges, you're off target. They didn't bring him back to re-do his deportation. They might, after this trial is done, but that's not a given.

There's gonna be a whole probable cause hearing, my dude.

First, there's the arraignment. This is where the defense gets told what the charges are. Then there's a few weeks (sometimes months), for the defense to examine the charges and evidence, and to prepare for the probable cause hearing.

It's at the PCH that the defense will ask for dismissal, if they think the prosecution can't show probable cause.

I thought you liked due process.

That'll work, only MAGA doesn't lean so heavily on the "believe women" mantra.
Is your main complaint that people are being hypocritical?

That people who say they are against rape are somehow defending someone who is accused of rape because they don’t want them sent to a dungeon in El Salvador for the rest of their life without any due process.

But somehow it is okay for Trump not to face consequences for rape because his supporters don’t believe women anyway so they are not hypocrites?

I do like Due Process. Part of what makes America great.

How did voters get confused about Trump "only deporting violent criminals"? I never heard him say that. I heard him claim most of them were and there would not be need to sort them. When firing federal workers he labeled some good people and some not so good people. Citizens. No sorting of illegals was ever promised. It was also clear on getting rid of DACA.

You don't indict someone unless there is probable cause. And the justice department is notorious for having some pretty lock solid probable cause before they indict.
So let's be clear: You agree that the defendant is innocent until proven guilty, in a court of law, according to due process.

But in the court of your own imagination, this defendant is already guilty, due to the trustworthiness of the government agency that's bringing charges against him.

Hopefully that's as clear for you as it is for me. If not, let me know, and I'll copy pasta it for you.

Because a lot of people only hear what they want to hear.
