Interim US attorney for the Central District of California has told the New York Times that the National Guard is needed to "regain order".

"The state has an obligation to maintain order and maintain public safety, and they’re unable to do that right now in Los Angeles," he said.

"They threw rocks at the officers," Essayli told the outlet. "We had Molotov cocktails thrown. We had all kinds of assaults on agents."

I would like to know exactly how many of those "protesters" are MAGA ◊◊◊◊-kickers wearing black face-masks and carrying fireworks and basically trying to stir up trouble where there is none. That is, the whole protest is a MAGA set-up. They've been caught doing this sort of thing before.

There is a precedent:

The police and FBI, using video camera film, identified a number of right-wing militia members instigating violence at BLM protests. The goal was to start a race war. One guy was videotaped in 4 cities.

A far-right extremist who pretended to be a BLM supporter pleaded guilty to rioting.

On May 27, 2021, Ivan Harrison Hunter, 26, traveled from Texas to Minneapolis during the height of last summer's George Floyd protests and fired gunshots in the Minneapolis 3rd Police Precinct while yelling "Justice for Floyd!" on video.

Hunter is a member of a militia group called the Boogaloo Boys that is anti-government and has the goal of starting a second civil war. Court documents suggest that he attended the protest with two other Boogaloo Boys — one of whom was accused of murdering two police officers.

I've just been looking at the reporting. Doesn't seem to be any riots at all. Maybe a few hundred protesters walking along waving flags and chanting, but a heck of a lot more police than that using stun-grenades and tear-gas. It really does seem that the only violence is coming from Boogaloo ◊◊◊◊-stirrers and the authorities.

Innocent people are going to get killed. This won't end well.
 
I'm already seeing the trumpkins portray this as an 'attack on democracy' (oh, the irony) and the kind of out of control revolution-esque situation that requires the marines and the National Guard.

And yes, this definitely won't end well. I'm sure I'm not the only one who keeps thinking of the Kent State shootings.
Also, I'm sure that when innocents are hurt and killed, Dump will be praising the killings and the usual suspects will be seal clapping and parroting his lies that they were dangerous armed foreign terrorists :( .
