Trump's Second Term

Anyone who has joined the US military after ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ election is a traitor.
◊◊◊◊ the military, we’re the ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ bad guys!
Just cowardly little ◊◊◊◊◊ following illegal orders that you know and love are illegal.

I will never stand up for the American anthem again.

I am ashamed to be American

Could the military people (in theory) claim that they swore an oath to defend the US against "All enemies foreign and domestic", and a president who is launching a nuclear first strike for personal reasons is engaging in an activities that make them an enemy?

Or, if they cannot countermand the order, could they at least slow-walk it, hopefully giving a chance for saner heads to prevail and remove him from office via the impeachment or the 25th amendment?

"The president has just ordered us to drop nuclear bombs on Canada and the EU because the Canadian PM hurt his feelings. We will get right on that... in 2 weeks."
Fun fact: Any soldier can disobey any order any time they want.

However, unlike in civilian cases, the soldier is presumed guilty of disobeying a lawful order, and bears the burden of proof at trial.

TAKANO: Does refusing to hire a Holocaust denier as a member of Harvard's history department count as an ideological litmus test?

McMAHON: I believe there should be diversity of viewpoints relative to teachings and opinions on campuses

That presumably also applies to flat earthers in geography, Lysenko supporters in genetics, vaccine deniers and naturopaths in medicine, and Nazis in political science. It will, of course, be necessary for the public weal to make an exception to the rule if a potential hire is suspected of being woke.

You forgot alchemists.

CASAR: Is promoting the work of Holocaust deniers and antisemites contrary to the national interest?

KRIKORIAN: We haven't done that

CASAR: But you have promoted the work of Holocaust deniers

KRIKORIAN: We also promoted the work of open borders people in that effort to present a broad range of views

Herr Schitler has a victory! North Macedonia throws in the towel! Checkmate, libtard naysayers!

Or maybe, just maybe, a person who lacks the ability to comprehend simple written concepts shouldn't be in charge of a diverse nation, or the world economy, or the nuclear codes . . . .
There's a difference between reading issues and comprehension issues. in Trump's case, it's the comprehending part that's the problem.

My experience with this is quite limited, but I would not be surprised if many people with a reading disability function quite well in their lives and in society, having developed several ways to get information through other means.

This is YUGE! That total trade is $220 million dollars per annum huge! Smaller than Trump’s annual golfing expense huge. Where values of "huge" include "minuscule", "inconsequential", and "not even worth the effort"...

I have a brother who managed to be well into fourth form without the teachers noticing that he couldn’t read. He has a remarkable memory, and could cheat his way through school. He learned to read later, though.

... Yup. Supporting Holocaust Denial is officially among the Right Wing's version of good DEI to support.

Look at it this way, if Trump has trouble reading, then he will have troubles reading the nuclear codes when he tries to start WW3 because the Canadian prime minister was mean to him.
