I suspect Tragic Monkey hit the nail on the head. Why pay for an expensive law firm that is afraid to fight in court?Odd that McD's has done so, as it is on record as contributing to Project 2025, reportedly. Either they made the change for business reasons, or it's an attempt to salvage its decline in sales owing to boycotts of US brands, especially overseas.
JFC!The White House might change how President Trump gets his daily intelligence briefings. Tulsi Gabbard, who is working on this, wants to make the briefings look like a TV broadcast. The reason is that Trump doesn’t like reading, as per the report by NBC News.
NBC News spoke to five people who know about the plan. One of the ideas is to hire a Fox News producer to help design the briefings. These new briefings might include maps, animations, and even exploding bombs to grab attention. Right now, the daily briefing is a digital document with text, some graphics, and images.
Trump has only read the briefing 14 times since becoming president, that’s less than once a week. Past presidents used to read briefings much more often. “The problem with Trump is that he doesn’t read. He’s on broadcast all the time”, according to an NBC News report. Gabbard thinks Trump’s habit of watching TV and not trusting intelligent people might be why he needs a different format
That's nothing, they have to slip him his medications wrapped inside a slice of cheese.

[HL added]Can't wait to see Trump's application!
Seriously is that genuine?
The article has a great phrase that I suspect is a "typo" - it is accurate so perhaps a Freudian slip:
"According to the memo, the feral government's strategy to hire people to the civil service, dubbed the "Merit Hiring Plan," will require certain applicants to write four 200-word essays about their work ethic, skills and experience, commitment to the Constitution, and plans to "advance the President's Executive Orders and policy priorities.""
I doubt it. For all its faults feudal government was probably more consistent and predictable. This one wanders, bites, and craps in all the wrong places.[HL added]
What, you mean it should have been "feudal"?

Millions of acres of Alaska wilderness will lose federal protections and be exposed to drilling and mining in the Trump administration’s latest move to prioritize energy production over the shielding of the US’s open spaces.
Doug Burgum, the interior secretary, said on Monday that the government would reverse an order issued by Joe Biden in December that banned drilling in the remote 23m-acre National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska (NPR-A), the New York Times reported.
Environmental groups had long feared Alaska would be the US president’s number one target given the state’s abundance of untapped oil and gas reserves, and immediately criticized the move to open up drilling in an area crucial to the survival of imperiled Arctic species.
“The Trump administration’s move to roll back protections in the most ecologically important areas of the Western Arctic threatens wildlife, local communities, and our climate, all to appease extractive industries,” Kristen Miller, executive director of the Alaska Wilderness League, said in a statement.

“This is another outrageous attempt to sell off public lands to oil industry billionaires at the expense of one of the wildest places left in America.
“These lands are home to caribou, migratory birds, and vital subsistence resources that Indigenous communities have relied on for generations. The public fought hard for these protections, and we won’t stay silent while they’re dismantled.”
See, this is the kind of thing that makes me worry we'll end up with 'How to blow up a pipeline'-style sabotage and vandalism to combat climate chang, after all. Like with the sufragettes who kept doing everything from detonating bombs to burning down mansions to get voting rights.
