Trump's Second Term

From what I have seen so far, this "major win" is, where he is suing the Pulitzer prize board for defamation, simply the court declining the defendants an appeal to pause the case while Trump, the plaintiff, is still president.

So Trump must now proceed with the case, and soon or risk contempt. Hopefully it will lead to enforced court appearances for him yet again, and a highly embarrassing failure to win.
My guess is that now that he's convinced himself he's won he'll not bother turning up to the actual trial and when he loses on the default he'll start creenrawling for the following month.

MAHA report full of nonexistent references
So the new gold standard is "pull a whole load of bovine excrement out my rear end". Not surprising really.

White House acknowledges problems in RFK Jr.'s 'Make America Healthy Again' report

Well, sort of. The problem was "formatting issues." :rolleyes:

But the White House's stupid little mouthpiece says it's not important.

WASHINGTON — The White House will fix errors in a much-anticipated federal government report spearheaded by U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., which decried America's food supply, pesticides and prescription drugs.

Kennedy's wide-ranging "Make America Healthy Again" report, released last week, cited hundreds of studies, but a closer look by the news organization NOTUS found that some of those studies did not actually exist.

Asked about the report's problems, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said the report will be updated.

"I understand there was some formatting issues with the MAHA report that are being addressed and the report will be updated." Leavitt told reporters during her briefing. "But it does not negate the substance of the report, which, as you know, is one of the most transformative health reports that has ever been released by the federal government.

"Minor citation and formatting errors have been corrected," HHS Spokesman Andrew Nixon said in an emailed statement. He described the report as a "historic and transformative assessment by the federal government to understand the chronic disease epidemic afflicting our nation's children."

No, it's a piece of ◊◊◊◊ that's going to harm a lot of people.

Madman in the White House says factories are closing and there is unrest in China so he has saved them from grave economic danger.

Donald J. Trump
@realDonald Trump
Two weeks ago China was in grave economic danger! The very high Tariffs I set made it virtually impossible for China to TRADE into the United States marketplace which is, by far, number one in the World. We went, in effect, COLD TURKEY with China, and it was devastating for them. Many factories closed and there was, to put it mildly, "civil unrest." I saw what was happening and didn't like it, for them, not for us. I made a FAST DEAL with China in order to save them from what I thought was going to be a very bad situation, and I didn't want to see that happen. Because of this deal, everything quickly stabilized and China got back to business as usual. Everybody was happy! That is the good news!!! The bad news is that China, perhaps not surprisingly to some, HAS TOTALLY VIOLATED ITS AGREEMENT WITH US. So much for being Mr. NICE GUY!

Must support Harvard. Turns out I do have a Harvard connection. My "chemical grandfather" went there, then taught my boss till 1958 or so at Wisconsin. Grandpa went on to Standford, never met him. He died 1995. WS Johnson.
