Oh for crying out loud.
It’s a joke. The California school authority seems to think that participation is all that matters to serious high school athletes. I’m puzzled why left leaning states and countries so easily bow to trans “rights” demands.Oh for crying out loud.

Yeah, that seems to be the mindset. It is often brought up when Lia Thomas is discussed. Yes, the best women swimmers win tan his arse, but try explaining that to good college swimmers he can beat with ease.*There was a quote in news where this Track& Field teen phenom claimed because he didn't come in 1st every time, then all arguments of advantage were bad.
Please, someone save our education here. I think all high school students in California need 4 semesters of just statistics.

I don't think constitutional rights are in play here one way or another, because I don't work for the ACLU or the ACLJ and therefore feel no need to constitutionalize every political question. I do think it is pointless and counterproductive to fire people who are good at their jobs just because you want to signal your conservative virtues as someoneThat is a policy, not constitutional legal requirement.
If we were talking about changing candidate qualifications for initial inprocessing then the celiac analogy would be on point, but we're also talking about running people off who are already in uniform (some of whom were in the propaganda piece from The Daily Show, if anyone is interested in humanizing them). There is a huge difference between saying we cannot accommodate someone during basic/field training and saying we cannot accommodate them when they live in base housing down the street from the base hospital. There's no individualized determination that goes on when preventing celiacs from serving.
This entire argument is about policy preferences and always has been. Sometimes lawyers will to try to read in the equal protection clause (to varying degrees of success) but it's still ultimately down to modern policy preferences since the men who wrote that clause definitely had no idea about either gender dysphoria or transition as a form of treatment and probably weren't even trying to generalize enough to anticipate that sort of thing. Hell, they didn't believe menstruators should be given the franchise; it's hard to imagine they could wrap their heads around 21st c. genderwang. That's a reasonable policy preference, but that's still just a policy preference.
Fair enough, but nothing in the non-corrupted report which came out earlier this year indicates that gender dysphoria is remotely incompatible with uniformed service. The trans-banners have zero science on their side (not even squishy social science) only a bunch of half-baked arguments rooted in the idea that everyone gets deployed to war zones, even the Space Force nerds. And the pro-trans side should come to terms with the fact that the scientific process has been so corrupted by advocacy that voters are quite frankly right to not trust it to handle these issues objectively.
Can you just clarify what this means? Harvard is offering your daughter a place, but she is thinking of turning it down? Why?eta:
As for Lia Thomas, we saw his name on the giant board at the Harvard pool... 3 records in bright red lights.
I think my daughters recruitment to Harvard is rejected by her, unless they do some quick changes- even then, not sure. She is science based so that has some benefit to being apart from the loonies.
They have until August when all of the UC system portals for applications. Hard exit for top recruits is late October. All of these 'sports' schools have designated spots they fill.
They are also required to abide by title ix. Let's see what they do.

No it hasn't. Your appeals to protections (somehow distinct from rights) and morality make it clear that you have absolutely not simply been talking about policy preferences. This entire argument is about policy preferences and always has been.
The HHS report did not even touch on the topic, so how is that any indication of compatibility? It is not. Why would you even bring it up as being relevant?Fair enough, but nothing in the non-corrupted report which came out earlier this year indicates that gender dysphoria is remotely incompatible with uniformed service.

From the same article, comes this telling indictment of the mainstream media.Article in the Spectator about the falling popularity of Pride.

Ah, that old mainstream media. Not like Info Wars where you get the truth. Probably in the pay of the paedo lobby no doubt. From the same article, comes this
telling indictment of the mainstream media.(Quote itemized by me, for emphasis)
....
- That Pride In Surrey, which last year was given £24,000 of taxpayers’ money from the council, was founded by a man who is now serving a sentence for child rape, and hosted a gig by a man convicted of attempted murder, you wouldn’t believe me.- Or that there was a message posted the other day on Police Scotland’s official internal intranet that directly compared the gender critical movement to the Nazi party. How about that? Not news, apparently!
That can't be right. It's on the BBC website?A pride event is to go ahead as planned after its founder and another volunteer were charged with multiple counts of sexual abuse against children, organisers have said.
This year's Pride in Surrey event will take place in Guildford on 21 September.
Organisers said it had been a "difficult week" for them and that they were "taking extra measures" to ensure event-goers were protected.
Stephen Ireland, 40, and David Sutton, 26, both from Addlestone, were arrested on 14 August.
Both men have been remanded in custody until a hearing at Guildford Crown Court in September.

So what? Rolfe’s point was about the movement. You don’t need to be trans to be part of the movement. But when we talked about this before, it was pointed out that neither of them were trans.
Nobody knows how much these shortfalls have to do with the Trump administration’s shuttering of USAID. But it’s a very strange coincidence if not. It is known that the American taxpayer was unwittingly partly funding Pride events in Britain, such as ‘Classical Pride’, a series of concerts in London which celebrates the ‘importance of LGBTQ+ music and musicians to classical music’.
That's just guilt by association. I mean, a few people here have extolled the virtues of Wagner and insisted it doesn't make them anti-semites. I agree. So what? Rolfe’s point was about the movement. You don’t need to be trans to be part of the movement.
Just because Hitler was an antisemite doesn’t mean all Nazis are. That’s just guilt by association. That's just guilt by association. I mean, a few people here have extolled the virtues of Wagner and insisted it doesn't make them anti-semites. I agree.
The Nazis were explicitly anti-semitic, weren't they, so Hitler was the right man for the job.Just because Hitler was an antisemite doesn’t mean all Nazis are. That’s just guilt by association.
An actual association gets to be judged by the people who lead it. Wagner isn’t as association. Surrey Pride is.
