Harvard is already doing that: wealthy foreign students are paying with their extremely high tuition for others' stipendsCouldn't he just put a 100% tariff on students?

But foreigners.......in the US.......stealing our precious bodily fluids........All the students in question have valid US student visas, which must surely have involved the US government already knowing their names, addresses, description, blood types and heights above sea level, etc., before they even landed in the country. Trump could have that list within minutes if he asked for it. Unless...DOGE has deleted that database, or Trump didn't even bother asking.
The situation here really is Trump is a demented, ignorant, mafiosa-wannabe arse who likes to threaten people who he thinks defy him.
Remind me again how many times Australia has entered wars at the request of the US and how many troops lost their lives? No one who tries to enter the U.S. is safe.

‘I’m not a criminal’: Military wife detained, deported at Honolulu airport
U.S. border officials denied entry for Nicolle Saroukos, who says she was "treated like a criminal."www.hawaiinewsnow.com
All other nations should issue travel warnings to their citizens that it is not safe to travel to the U.S. They are in more danger from DHS than they are from street criminals.
That's how it works in the UK as well, I think. It was certainly the case when I was at uni: overseas students brought in a lot of money.Harvard is already doing that: wealthy foreign students are paying with their extremely high tuition for others' stipends
Though he was refused entry to Trump U for low grades. First ever, apparently!Apparently there's little to no evidence Barron ever tried to get into Harvard.
Yeah, it did occur to me too that there's just a chance Musk's vandalism means the government now no longer knows who it issued student visas to in order to take a place at Harvard. All the students in question have valid US student visas, which must surely have involved the US government already knowing their names, addresses, description, blood types and heights above sea level, etc., before they even landed in the country. I believe that the more and more ready the EU get towards fully supporting Ukraine, the less and less willing Zelenskyy will be to humour and placate Trampy.Beyond Parody
Donald says Putin has gone crazy but everything out of Zelensky's mouth is causing problems and it had better stop.
Good job we can hear it for ourselves.RealClearPolitics states Trump said the opposite!
More likely his dad withdrew him when he found out how high the fees were.Though he was refused entry to Trump U for low grades. First ever, apparently!
He needs to be in a "home" and out of the Presidency. But of course, Biden's the one who was senile, insane and evil.
We're well and truly ◊◊◊◊◊◊.
And ISTM that Trump says that the job of the US armed forces is "Not to do X, Y or Z" where Z is spread democracy at the point of a gun.Good job we can hear it for ourselves.
Thanks for that. Though what he did say wasn't a lot better.RealClearPolitics states Trump said the opposite!
"The military’s job is to dominate any foe and annihilate any threat to America — ANYWHERE, ANY TIME, and ANY PLACE."
Yes, the quoted tweet is clearly an edited quote which changes the meaning of what Trump said. Perhaps some checking before tweets are shared would be an idea? And ISTM that Trump says that the job of the US armed forces is "Not to do X, Y or Z" where Z is spread democracy at the point of a gun.
. . . and they asked home to pay up frontMore likely his dad withdrew him when he found out how high the fees were.
No, he'd like the fees being really impressively high. He'd baulk at finding he was expected to pay them.More likely his dad withdrew him when he found out how high the fees were.
In the version I've heard, it's "not to do x, y, but z", although it might well be, from the context, that the "but" was misplaced. And ISTM that Trump says that the job of the US armed forces is "Not to do X, Y or Z" where Z is spread democracy at the point of a gun.

IMO the "but" followed the democracy at the point of a gun and was the "dominate" zooterkin mentioned upthread. In the version I've heard, it's "not to do x, y, but z", although it might well be, from the context, that the "but" was misplaced.
Not the way I hear it.How is it edited?
He might not have meant that but it's what he said.
