It's been a rough few months for me. I never thought we'd be back here, in a much worse position than ever before. I had hoped and expected the proper Checks and Balances would take care of the extreme outlier, but those have been found to be pretty much worthless. I totally understand your position. I've thought about going to protests but doing that is functionally worthless. (I have done it before.)

I fully expect the Night Watch to be formed any day.
And the bit thart the Presiden of the Earth federation runs on a violently anti Alien (in this case literally) agend, while he is being controlled and manipulated by The Shadows (the big bad Alien race of the series. they make the Cardassians and the Dominion on Star Trek look cuddly in comparasion) is great.
And thent there was the episode that predicted Fox News nearly a decade before it happened.

I wish I could afford donating more to those I support. Each election season you will find me knocking doors, canvassing for candidates that I know have no chance of winning this bright red district. You should lay off attacking people's actions until you at least start showing that you've done anything different in the last two decades.
 
Trump and the GOP like nothing more then a "It is hopeless there is nothing that can be done" attiude, which is too damn common here.

If the rule of law has become totally corrupted, then the use of force agains it is justified. That is how this country got started.
And UI am NOT a pacifist. Sometimes armed force is necessary.
