Trump's Second Term

It's actually a direct quote of something Blair really once said. I think it was Blair. It might have been Major. I saw it happen live on the BBC years ago and it always stuck with me.
Major's quote was slightly different:

I think Trump pardons him.

Donald is bringing world peace!

Reporter: No Putin in Turkey. Disappointed?
Trump: No.. I actually said, why would he go if I'm not going? Because I wasn't going to go. I wasn't planning to go. I would go, but I wasn't planning to go. And I said, I don't think he's going to go if I don't go. And that's turned out to be right.. but I didn't think it was possible for Putin to go if I'm not there.

Because police would never arrest a black man for unjustifiable reasons...
He was on ICE property without prior authorization. This seems to be an undisputed fact.

Did you hear all those idiots demanding that ICE "show respect" to the Mayor? As if the mayor has any sort of special right to be there.

He doesn't.

But that isn't why they claim he was arrested, they talk about charging crowds and such that never happened. But I know the police are allowed to just make up evidence against black people, that has been proven in court repeatedly. There is nothing wrong with a police officer framing someone, a NYPD cop videoed himself planting evidence twice and is still employed and certainly was never charged with anything.

It's being vigorously disputed in federal court. The City of Newark asserts that the building was not properly renovated and was not permitted for occupancy. As such, the city's executives have a right to enter and inspect. If the arrest was entirely proper, why did ICE make up a completely bogus story about it for the media? Why didn't they just stand on the facts? Why wasn't he charged under the federal trespass law, which requires a higher scienter standard (i.e., proof of impermissible motive)? Why were the arresting agents being directed by highers-up who were not there, rather than on their own initiative as witnesses?

Mayor of Newark is not a construction or permits inspector. HE has no authority to just walk on to the property, nor is he trained to do such a thing.

Was he wearing any required PPE to engage in such an inspection? Hard hat? Steel toe boots? Retroreflective vest? Sure dont look like it.

The video I posted was edited. We dont see how many times the Mayor was told to leave or be arrested. If he was told to leave once, and refused, he was trespassing. And can face arrest. The Mayor of Newark is not above the law even if his intentions are good.

Again, he was arrested for trespassing. That means he was on property he had no right to be on, was asked by proper personnel to leave, and he refused.

Irrelevant.

So post the video that contains the evidence of the claims you're making.

You answered none of my questions. If this was an ordinary arrest, why are there so many irregularities and lies?

You have no evidence that the Mayor of Newark has the authority (or required training or PPE) to inspect buildings that may not have undergone proper renovation.

You just made it up to justify his presence there.

Straw man...
YOU said he has the authority to conduct inspections of buildings. YOU have yet to provide any evidence of such a thing.

Strawman? Hardly. Cities dont just allow anyone to engage in an inspection of a possibly hazardous construction site. They hire, train and equip inspectors for a reason.
