I'm just throwing out resistance ideas that some people are having. Not picking cherries, just giving a more complete picture of all the variety out there in resistance-land. With all the Trump = Hitler and related rhetoric, it would be irresponsible not to mention the people taking it seriously.

Protests don't work got it. We need to stop all that crap around Martin Luther King jr, as he did nothing effective just useless protesting.

Hey, what else are they supposed to do, answer questions? Take responsibility for their actions? Take a step back and consider if they really should remain in the Drumpf cult as the country spirals towards irreversible dictatorship, instead of getting out to help put on the brakes? You know whataboutisms and equivocating is all they have, bless their hearts.

This thread is about what the resistance is supposed to do. Please don't tell me you've tried nothing and are out of ideas already.

No dictatorship is irreversible. Partuclary in a country where private ownerhship of guns is legal. And it is amazing how many on the liberal side I know have changed their minds on gun ownership over the past few months........
Of course, if you think the American people are hopeless then this does not apply. BUt if you think this sort of useless to compalin, isn't it?
I have feeling some people here simply have issue with Americans because they are not Europeans, frankyand have different ways of viewing things.

Oh my, not yet! Premature responsibility is virtual treason, just as once upon a time oh so long ago that nobody can possibly remember, many American thinkers between the world wars were condemned for "premature Anti-fascism." The time for responsibility is afterwards. Many have, after all, made a very successful career out of lying. Lie now, lie later. The smart resistance is retroactive.

Interesting how a non-stop rhetoric of "hitler, nazi, fascist, existential threat to democracy" has the totally unexpected outcome of radicalizing some people into violence and terrorism. I mean, really, who could possibly have seen that coming?

Whenever you want. The issue here is that some of you think some people are taking it a little too seriously.

Hitler needed killing. Several people saw this and tried, bless them. It would have been better if they'd succeeded.

So you tell us: How seriously should we take Trump's neo-fascism? Because some people think it's at the needs killing stage.
