Transwomen are not Women - Part 15

I may not remember correctly, but in looking for answers I found it may be a hoax.

These are both stories from four years ago - got anything more up to date?

Why do you think that unwanted and nonconsensual exhibitionism doesn't hurt anyone?
He knows EC, he just doesn't give a crap. The fears, feelings and dignity of women are totally irrelevant to him, and that goes for Mycroft as well.

Are you good with flashers being allowed to expose themselves on the street too? Or is it only in female-only spaces that you think flashers should be tolerated?
Oh, he's just fine with the latter. The more the merrier from his viewpoint. It will all serve to put those uppity women, who refuse to be subservient to male dominance, in their rightful place.

You really should get into the habit of only speaking for yourself and allow others to speak for themselves.

I wasn't speaking for anyone else. I was expressing an opinion - and that's allowed on this forum

Aside from fashion, you do understand that males and females have different body shapes, and that our clothing - even hypothetically gender neutral clothing - is cut differently to accommodate those body shapes, don't you? Simple straight-leg jeans are cut differently because MALES HAVE DICKS AND BALLS THAT NEED TO BE ACCOMMODATED BY THE CUT and FEMALES HAVE HIPS THAT NEED TO BE ACCOMMODATED BY THE CUT.
Even to the point I once borrowed a female friend's day pack to go on a short hike (50km). Luckily, it was a short hike. I have never worn such an uncomfortable day pack. What I didn't know is that makers of top quality packs (such as "Osprey") make differently shaped and cut packs for men and women to suit the different body shapes! Who knew?

Your claim; your burden to prove. No-one else has to do your homework for you!

Homework? I presented the two articles saying it may have been a hoax. I don't see any homework to do.

Be it a hoax or not has no bearing on my point. It's okay with me whatever anyone chooses to believe about the incident.

Learn English comprehension...

I think I'm better at reading comprehension than you are.

See how easy that was? Starting with "I think" marks it as an opinion. If I hadn't added that, people might rightfully think I was stating it as fact.

I am better at reading comprehension than you.

See the difference? That second one is much more certain, much more assertive. None of those pussy-footin' opinions there!

I am better at reading comprehension than you are.

It's opinion by default. Everything members say here are their opinions unless they are stated as facts or claims, in which case they should be accompanied by evidence

Put your reading comprehension to the test:

My only claim is I found articles that show it may be a hoax.

Specifically the words may be. Do you think they indicate I need more evidence?

I think I'll be using this new toy a lot.

Someone said I'd gone quiet. Indeed, I was asleep. In a hotel room, on a two day break doing one of the great railway journeys of the world. When I woke up there were five more pages of this thread, stuffed with falsehoods and goalpost-shifting from the TRA side.

I am having a lovely time, the weather is fantastic and I'll get back to you sometime. Meanwhile here is a holiday postcard for you all, a photo I took yesterday.

I think your perception of incidents of trans-women attacking women in woman’s bathrooms is exaggerated due to your haunting of anti-trans websites where those incidents are cherry-picked and presented to you.

And you're going to cherry-pick some actual examples of men "beating and harassing" trans identifying men in the men's bathroom real soon now?

You imply that would be the same as what you are doing. Would it?

US from 2024

Transgender women use of women's toilets - Yes 31%, No 50%

According to your data, on the single issue of letting a person use the bathroom that matches their gender identity, the public in general favors my point of view 53% with 23% who are unsure, to 31% who opposes,

Which does not match my own personal 7-2-0.

Maybe it's because I live in a city among people who vote blue, while the people who vote red (trumpers) tend to be more rural. Or maybe it's the small sample size, and if I were to continue I would find more people who disagree.

In any case, I can't remember a time when more effort was put to show me data that agrees with me.
