Donald Trump elected not to attend the dignified transfer of 4 fallen U.S. soldiers at Dover Air Force Base. The soldiers died in Lithuania during a training exercise. Trump was paid millions by the Saudis to attend the LIV Golf dinner in Florida — so he was otherwise occupied. The…bsky.app
It's always transactional with this scumbag.

Didn’t he saying that the operation was a SUCCESS and that the patient was HEALING!?The story is that Pres. Trump inherited a very bad economy, a patient that was very sick. The market behavior is simply the symptom of that illness that Joe Biden caused. What's that term where everyone knows that someone is lying but we all just agree to pretend like it's the truth?

President Donald Trump on Friday called for Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell to cut interest rates, even as his tariff blitz roiled markets and raised fears of a rebound in inflation.
“This would be a PERFECT time for Fed Chairman Jerome Powell to cut Interest Rates. He is always ‘late,’ but he could now change his image, and quickly,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social. “Energy prices are down, Interest Rates are down, Inflation is down, even Eggs are down 69%, and Jobs are UP, all within two months - A BIG WIN for America. CUT INTEREST RATES, JEROME, AND STOP PLAYING POLITICS!”
Trump’s post comes as global equity markets are selling off sharply. The president’s new tariff policy, unveiled Wednesday, has raised concerns about a global economic slowdown.
The new trade policies may also be a barrier that keeps the Federal Reserve from cutting. The central bank has paused its rate cuts in recent meetings, in part because progress on reducing inflation appeared to have plateaued. The new tariffs could lead to a widespread rise in prices, at least temporarily, that further complicates the inflation picture.
On Friday, Powell told business journalists in Arlington, Virginia, that the Fed was “well positioned to wait for greater clarity” before making changes like rate reductions. He also said that the tariffs announced were “significantly larger than expected.”
Breaking his silence, Obama remarked, "So, this is the first time I've been speaking publicly for a while," noting that he had been observing the situation quietly until now. In eight words, he summed up how a lot of Americans feel, Obama said: "Imagine if I had done any of this?"

A textbook case of the Cure being worse then the Disease.Didn’t he saying that the operation was a SUCCESS and that the patient was HEALING!?
I dread to imagine what things will be like when he opens Trump Hospital.
Sometimes the red tape is all that is holding the system together, illogical though it may seem and possibly is. Cut it without care and everything falls apart. So before doing that, step back and think about the consequences. Be sure it's the right thing to do and the right place to cut.SOme common sense on making government efficent

I am sure most federal workers can tell you horror stories about red tape and sheer inefficency due to out moded procedures; cut the red tape, not the workes and the services.
Miller has been a flagrant and repeated liar since his university campus days. He is as big a narcissist as Trump.obscene lying from Stephen Miller on Fox News as he claims the economy was in "depression" thanks to Biden when Trump took office (the American economy was in fact the envy of the world three months ago ... )
President Trump’s sweeping global tariffs have rocked the stock market since being announced on Tuesday, with just about every major tech company down double-digits. Semiconductors were largely spared from an immediate impact, however, as chips from Taiwan and other nations were exempted. Most electronics sold in the United States are powered by chips made in Asia, meaning tariffs would have a significant impact on prices. But Trump told a White House press pool on Thursday that tariffs on semiconductors will be imposed “very soon.”
Already, tariffs on foreign-made goods have led Nintendo to announce a delay in U.S. pre-orders for the Switch 2 while it assesses the potential impact of tariffs. And Klarna, the buy-now-pay-later startup made a meme for letting customers pay for food deliveries in installments, delayed its planned IPO on Friday. Global economic uncertainty probably hurts the business case for financing Chipotle burritos through zero-interest, unsecured loans.
I wish I could be as optimistic about MAGA turning on the leopards eating their faces, but I'm not. Trump's basic ideology is one they share- that every interaction is a zero-sum competition where any gain by any other side is a loss for theirs, and there can be no mutual gains, only total victories and complete defeats. Remember when so much of the opposition to gay marriage revolved around the idea that treating gay people equally somehow robbed straight marriage of its meaning? Or when "Black Lives Matter" was recast as a claim that white lives did not? These are largely the same people, still clinging to the notion that they are victims of evil "others" whose intent is to make them lesser as the necessary cost of elevating the unworthy - and they won't, in their search for someone to blame, turn on the guy who feeds (and feeds on) their sense of illusory loss. He can, and will, continue to eat their faces for as long as they need to believe that it's really somebody else's teeth on their throats than one of their own.I'm more optimistic.
Trump is causing too much chaos too soon before the institutions are fully dismantled.
A lot of his MAGA fans will either suffer from very sudden price rises, or job uncertainty, or pensions and his attacks on government services. And he will lose critical elections preventing drones being installed in critical roles.
He's managing to break through the bubble
