Trump's Second Term

This is something I cannot stand about the man. He's so narcissistic he simply can't believe anything negative said about him has a basis in reality. Any questioning of his person, personality, or actions is always because of the machinations of someone else: a witch hunt, fake news, lies, or rigged elections. He apparently absolutely believes he is perfect and anyone questioning it is either a fool or an enemy, and often times both.
I will simplify for you.

He is insane.

Trump: "We'll probably stop at UAE and Qatar -- as I used to call it 'cut-R' -- nobody has ever told me right or wrong. I always like to say 'cut-R.' But it's Qatar."
Wait. Stop what? Stop over for coffee? Stop the bombing?

What's the context for this bit of senile rambling?

Politico reported, "The Trump administration acknowledged late Monday that it had inadvertently deported a man to El Salvador last month despite a court’s determination that he had a legitimate fear of persecution in his home country...Abrego Garcia was deemed by an immigration judge in 2019 to be a likely member of the MS-13 gang — a decision Abrego Garcia sharply contested and that the government credited to information gleaned from a confidential informant. But the court also agreed at the time that he should not be deported to El Salvador, finding that his fear of being persecuted or tortured was credible."

I'm still confused about the US executive order. It seemingly addresses the federal workers. That's fine to some extent. But he then signs sweeping orders that affect every citizen. I expect him to do this eventually: "Trump signs executive order defining criticism of the president as terrorism."

From reducing everyone’s bills greatly and immediately to paying more for eggs is the patriotic thing to do and it's not Donald's fault anyway.

Harris Faulkner on how Trump should talk to "401k people" worried about tariffs hurting them: "Look, when this nation used to go to war, people in this country would support the war effort with their materials at home and making things for weaponry. We have to do 100% buy in over this bumpy period."

Faulkner makes a reported $2,000,000 a year. She can ◊◊◊◊ right off. Hard. We're not at war you stupid ◊◊◊◊, unless it's against the poor. Trump inherited the best post-COVID economy among developed nations, Donnie Diapers is ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ that up. ◊◊◊◊ him too.

Some judges don't count apparently.
Abrego was granted protection in 2019, when the A.G. was William Barr. DOJ and ICE both admit that he was deported unlawfully by mistake!

REPORTER: A judge ordered that he should remain in this country. So are you saying that it's ok to ignore a judge's ruling if you don't like it?

LEAVITT: It was an immigration judge who works for the DOJ at the direction of the AG, whose name is Pam Bondi

Well, exactly. Surely everyone remembers grandma, sitting by the fire, pushing ball bearings into plastic explosives to make Claymores for the boys over in Vietnam? And telling stories of how her aunt Rosie spent all her life savings on jellied gasoline to drive the Chinese out of Korea once and for all, and how uncle Jack laughed when he realised their pensions were gone. "Up in smoke" he joked. Those were the days.

Where's that wartime spirit gone, eh?

Gone with the onion tied to her belt.
