Again, the Tufts graduate student co-wrote an Op-Ed; I read it looking for anything which would advocate terrorism or which would fall outside of protected speech, and I saw nothing. The article indicated that 300 student visas had been revoked. Using AI to scan social media accounts sounds error-prone. Freedom of speech applies to speech with which we disagree.

yeah ai can’t scour the internet and figure out if people are terrorists. it’s a glorified chat bot, and reminds me of people’s beliefs in lie detectors.

if anything, it’s actually kind of trash. it’s pretty laughable to trust it with anything of consequence at this point in time imo.
 
AP reported, "Elon Musk has sold social media site X to his own xAI artificial intelligence company in a $33 billion all-stock deal, the billionaire announced on Friday. Both companies are privately held, which means they are not required to disclose their finances to the public." I am putting this into the politics section because so many governmental announcements are being made through X. I am open to the possibility that Musk's DOGE is performing data mining in support of his AI company. Reuters and others have reported that the Securities and Exchange Commission is bringing on DOGE staff. "As the nation's top markets regulator, the SEC is privy to swaths of nonpublic data from banks, public companies, private funds and others, including confidential information about initial public offerings and supervisory examination records."

oops. sorry I punched the reply button twice Still not comfortable with this system. Anyway, though you're right that AI can't actually figure out who's a terrorist, I'm sure you meant in this case that it shouldn't be thus used, not that it can't. The fact that it's stupid and bound to cause endless error and rampant injustice is hardly a deterrent to the fools in charge.

Per @POTUS directive, I have revoked former President Joe Biden’s security clearance, and revoked clearances and access to classified information for Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, Fiona Hill, and Alexander Vindman.
 
Considering Kinzinger has already had his removed it’s almost as if trump is suffering from an obsession.
