Trump's Second Term

A mostly disarmed Europe with a feeble defense industry was good for the US. In the past, a fully locked and loaded Europe has led to rivalries and world wars. Besides, the vast increase in units produced and sold of American arms is what makes them slightly affordable. The cost of an F-35 today would be through the roof if not for sales to third parties, mostly Europeans.

But thanks to Trump, Europe is circling wagons, and with conviction. The missing major partner is the still-rogue UK, but that may change. We can largely ignore and marginalize that clown in Hungary. Most importantly, like the Ents, Europe is about to wake up and find it is still strong. Trump just has to finish disgusting the Scandinavians until they vomit, and the European Defense Initiative will enter full bloom. France's extension of their nuclear umbrella to Germany is the first step in a game changer... but the cost to humanity of Trump's betrayal of democracy may very well be nuclear proliferation.

Make no mistake: Trump's second term is not "like" the threat of Nazi Germany. It is far, far worse.

The general agreement among MAGAs is that Trump 'owned' Zelensky and put him in his place. Trump is the GOAT, you don't disagree with him or disrespect him or he will destroy you.

Looks like Little Marco was feeling sick. Maybe he's realizing he sold his soul to these ◊◊◊◊◊.

◊◊◊◊ marco. ◊◊◊◊ all of them. if i knew what they knew what they were getting into, they definitely did

in the end, the only thing that matters for Zelensky is to protect Ukraine - convincing the US to give guarantees was the mission, and it failed.
So in that sense, he lost.
...
Let's see if Republicans can put some pressure on Trump.
Oh I am sure there will be plenty of talk behind closed doors, with congress critters complaining about Trump's "Foreign policy" and how the US shouldn't abandon ukraine.

But that talk will remain behind closed doors. And at the end of the day the GOP will do nothing,

He looked scared and sheepish to me, like a kid who hasn't done the homework assignment. Maybe he was terrified someone would ask him to tell the group what concessions he got out of Lavrov, and to confirm he didn't get bamboozled into making him any rash promises.

Pootie gonna be mad his puppet Trumpy blew the Ukrainian rare earth deal. Now he is gonna have to try and take it himself. Dead Russians never bothered him. But it is awfully inconvenient. Maybe Trump is not the deal maker he boasted he was. Time to review his employment contract...

Thank you President Trump and VP Vance for standing up for America!

Also, 'russia went through a horrible witch hunt'? Whut? Is he talking about the accusations of collusion with the Dump administration?
Ah, a simple misunderstanding. Trump wasn't referring to a horrible hunt for witches, he was referring to a hunt for horrible witches. Which he just confessed to being.
