I think the denial comes in when liberals fail to underestimate how much a shocking number of people are willing to let their hatred consume them to the point that they destroy themselves and everything around them.

But hey, congrats on the kid who died of measles and the looming recession. Hope the libs were suitably owned to make it worth it.
 
The FDA's annual meeting of experts to choose which flu variants should be addressed by next season's flu vaccines has reportedly been cancelled (not merely postponed).

The Food and Drug Administration notified members of its vaccine advisory committee Wednesday that a planned March 13 meeting was canceled, according to an email sent to members that was read to The Washington Post. No reason was provided.
The email warned members against forwarding the email. It suggested members decline to answer questions from media.

The principle applies more broadly, of course, and the Republicans have been focusing on taking advantage of that for a long time now. Hating on "liberals" boils down to much the same thing.

I find it amusing because while their opinions are dreadful and their remarks pretty crazy, their writing style is very distinctive and gives the game away immediately.

After reading it, the order effectively gives a rogue department and its billionaire head (not approved by the US Senate) head complete control over all US government expenditures, save for the FBI, Customs and Border Protection, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the military, the CIA, any classified system, nor any contract or real estate that Elon Musk doesn't believe should be covered by the order.

I've just heard that the Republicans passed a budget resolution which reduces Medicaid spending by $880bn.

That doesn't sound good for poor people.

I'm sure that the billionaires will soon be getting tax cuts funded in part by cutting Medicaid and in part by increasing the deficit and debt.
