Good to see him admitting to that about his test.

Lying comes so naturally to him, as does reveling in his power troll and play with the lives of millions of people like toys.Elon on his email
For the sake of accuracy - this is problematic. The excuses usually have more to do with him being clear that he condemns said actually bad people shortly after in the same conversation as the very fine people quote. The real issue at hand is that actions speak louder than words and that the very fine people quote has been seized upon because it's a bit of a flashpoint for connecting the two, even if the quote itself would be relatively innocuous in more normal circumstances and is an objectively poor thing to seize upon when the solely verbal context is considered. Considering more of the context - there was a lot more than just Nazi flags visible in the problematic parts of that - does make it far less problematic, of course, but focusing on the specific words keeps the focus on the entirely excusable words, rather than the actually problematic things.- Trump calling neo-nazis "fine people" after the Charllotestown rally (and he did... the MAGAchud try to justify it by saying he said "some" were fine people, but since nazi flags were visible, any of the right wing protestors would have been aware of them but decided to stick around.).
If he does anything respectable there might be a new public holiday to mark the day.You should have more respect for the leader of the USA
Friends,
A brief word today one the fifth horrific week of Trump 2.0.
I know how hard it’s been for you. We are watching what we never dreamed possible — the apparent transformation of our democracy into a dictatorship (or, as Trump enjoyed promoting this week, a monarchy).
You may be feeling helpless, powerless, and alone. But you are not. Most Americans are as disgusted by this as you are. Trump and his regime want us to feel helpless, powerless, and alone — because that’s Trump’s way of taking over.
Last week, Trump officially went over to the dark side by aligning himself with Vladimir Putin in the Ukraine war. Trump even said Ukraine started the war, and he called Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy a “dictator.”
By now we all know that when Trump accuses someone of something, he’s projecting himself onto them. Trump is the one who’s becoming a dictator.Edited by jimbob:snipped for rule 4
Someone said in a different thread that the designers apologized profusely and didn't know that was a Nazi symbol.Interesting.
Symbol of the Blood & Soil Movement, Hitler Youth, and 7th SS Division Prinz Eugen.
Also used in South Africa by pro apartheid, extreme right wing groups.
Just an unfortunate coincidence I'm sure.

On the other hand, he does have access to the best medical attention that money can buy.Is that for a relatively healthy lifestyle 78 year old? Trump is an angry, lazy, fat pucker with the end-stage diet of Supersize Me. I suspect there's some adjustments to the calculation required. By my estimate, he's been dead for a few years now.
Access, yes. But RFK Jr. will convince him to not use it.On the other hand, he does have access to the best medical attention that money can buy.
Well let's hope so.Access, yes. But RFK Jr. will convince him to not use it.

I wonder why Musk is shocked that federal employees are ignoring a request for information, from a person who is not in their chain of command?Elon on his email

I'm pretty sure they used the same layout last year, and the similarity in symbols was also raised then, so yet another example of implausible deniability.
Then again, I can't remember which of the MAGA bastards said it, but once you have to explain why a symbol is bad (like pepe, t
he 'ok' hand signal, 'Let's go Brandon', etc.), you lose.
Elon blinked. Here we go.Employees that didn't submit a response to Elon's email are being given a second chance.
Irrelevant. The request was improper because it lacked authority.Elon on his email
The email request was utterly trivial, as the standard for passing the test was to type some words and press send!
Instructed properly by their managers who have actual authority, including in at least two cases officers appointed by Pres. Trump and duly confirmed by the Senate.Yet so many failed even that inane test, urged on in some cases by their managers.
Pretty good description of DOGE, don't you think?Have you ever witnessed such INCOMPETENCE and CONTEMPT for how YOUR TAXES are being spent?
Most of us remember when Elon blinked there too, and had to rehire all the people he ineptly fired.Makes old Twitter look good. Didn’t think that was possible.
Judge Kollar-Kotelly held a hearing yesterday on one of the ongoing lawsuits against the administration. Lawyers for the administration couldn't answer simple questions like who was the head of DOGE and what Elon Musk's role in government was. That's pretty audacious on the part of people who whined about "unelected" bureaucrats.I wonder why Musk is shocked that federal employees are ignoring a request for information, from a person who is not in their chain of command?
Johnson just realiozed that
