Oh, wait, is this another of your posts repeating crazy stuff nutters are posting? Poe's law applies to anything Trump does (or doesn't do). There is no way to tell when some claimed act is so absurd that it can't be true.
 
fElon and Trump are firing all kinds of people, and then claiming that they have evidence of waste/fraud/abuse without showing ANY of the evidence to anyone, anywhere.

Indeed, some people these days seem to be using "algorithm" as if it meant, "Magical wish-granting machine." This is not to say data mining doesn't exist, or that deep statistical models aren't valid. But they aren't per se evidence of waste, fraud, and abuse. As I wrote above, so far the algorithms seem to be falling victim to stupid mistakes like deleting everything with "Reuters" in the name. That's not some deep-learning algorithm. That's kid-stuff mistakes—the kind where you take the intern aside and say, "Okay, let me explain why what you did was a mistake." If you want to point to the shadowy, proprietary algorithms that govern what people see on social media, then I'll point out that the purpose of those algorithms is exactly to manipulate what you see to create the picture of fact that the algorithm-designer wants you do see.

Algorithms have certainly "cracked the code" if what you mean by "code" is the magic formula that keeps people engaged with a certain desired narrative. Neither Elon Musk nor any of his companies has shown that they have expertise in forensic accounting or any computing tools that would substitute for the judgment forensic accountants, economists, and others have traditionally employed to discover the facts. Musk (and to a lesser extent, Trump) is simply trying to pass off to gullible or malfeasant parties that they have a magical crystal ball than can find all The Woke they've been assuring everyone exists. But don't you dare ask how it works!
 
IIRC I discussed in another thread one thing that happened when USAID was shut down. An estimated that 750 million to 1 billion of money for work already completed was not paid out. Maybe Elon and the Traitor Tots can crack the code for how not to do that.

I know Trump almost never pays money owed, to anyone. Why would he start now?

Europe just has to push back a bit.
It seems Starmer, Macron and the new German Chancellor are doing some pushing.

How curious. Well, those videos are clearly different events. The BBC one where Trump does greet Macron is dated today and accompanied by still photos of both men, plus a bylined report remarking on how long the handshake went on, so I'm inclined to think it must be the Forbes one that isn't from today.

CIA scrambles after White House email compromises undercover officers' names: report

The Central Intelligence Agency is conducting an assessment of their own security after a White House email about civil service layoffs appeared to compromise the names of certain undercover officers, reported CNN on Monday.

This damage control, reported CNN, is "just one of multiple aftershocks from President Donald Trump’s push to take a jackhammer to the federal government — including the CIA. The administration’s efforts to cut the workforce and audit spending at the CIA and elsewhere threaten to jeopardize some of the government’s most sensitive work, current and former U.S. officials familiar with internal deliberations say."

The CIA first began discussing layoffs amid tech billionaire Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) task force and its rampage through agencies across the executive branch, originally billed as a mass buyout that would infuse "renewed energy" into intelligence operations.

However, chaos erupted after the White House sent an email over an unclassified server suggesting the layoffs of a number of CIA employees who were on probationary status due to being recent hires — which may have included the first and last names of some undercover agents.

Making matters worse, said the report, "some U.S. embassy positions that are actually filled by CIA officers under cover may now be at risk of being revealed — potentially angering the host nation and exposing companies or endangering CIA assets who are known to have met with past occupants of the role."
