Actually, it wasn't. It made a profit in 2019 and then a big loss in 2020 - pandemic year. It was on a trajectory to being profitable again, when Musk decided to sabotage it.

Not true. It is not a crime to reveal the names, job titles, and workplaces of federal employees except in cases such as intelligence and law enforcement work where revealing such information may compromise their ability to do their jobs. In fact, in most cases it is required to give the names of federal employees in key positions. This is an even stronger requirement under the unitary executive theory that the Republicans prefer.
That is illegal, but simply naming the people who are currently mucking about in America's bank accounts does not constitute a threat and may be a required disclosure. This is why so many high level federal employees require security details, unless you're Dr. Fauci. It is actually illegal for them to be kept secret.
The kids he has named as his star software engineers may be federal employees. You just need a job title and a paycheck that comes from the GSA payroll. However, knowing their names is not a crime.

Doxxing and threats are illegal. That's why it's generally illegal to give out, say, the home addresses and personal telephone numbers of federal employees. Even absent a threat, federal employees are entitled to privacy. This does not extend to their official duties, however. If Musk is claiming his wunderkinder are federal employees engaged in their official duties, then they are not exempt from the requirement for that to be public information.
