Trump's Second Term

There's also no indication of when that photo was taken. It could have been a momentary microexpression that had nothing to do with the drivel coming from Trump's piehole at that moment.

I see some pretty funny expressions when I press pause on Netflix too.

It is a funny pic, though.
Yeah, agreed- I've seen too many examples of CTists using their mad photo-interpretation skilz in, say, the Boston Marathon Bombing threads ("it's suspicious that that guy is just standing there and not reacting to the mayhem around him!"- as if a photo could show anything more than him standing there), to think this one is actually evidence of anything. It was just too funny to resist.

DOGE tec bros are in the Medicaid agency payment system.

Elon says that is where the big money fraud is happening.

Yes, you can plainly see how well coordinated that protest is from the picture. Energetic, too.
Didn't we just cover the whole business of over-interpreting photographs with the wide-eyed lady in the other thread? This urge to score cheap points just makes people look silly.

eta: actually, it was THIS thread. A few posts up.

No. That was someone else. Kinda' like you, though, implying that those "protestors" staring at their phones were reading tactical communications.

That's a vast system. Amazing how Musk can so quickly determine that the millions of transactions per day that go through it are fraudulent. He really must be some kind of Galaxy Brain. Or he said the quiet part loud.

You dismissed the possibility that phones could be useful. I merely corrected you on that matter. I made no implication at all as to what was occuring in the photos, as --scroll up-- we've already had a reminder of how foolish one would have to be to make assumptions of activity based on still photos which do not contain enough information.

Apparently it is to claim "obvious" than it is to explain the logic, as requested. Makes one suspect that some "skeptics" here don't actually know what logic is.

Your suggestion that "standing around staring at your phone" was essentially the same as doing nothing dismisses the possibility that phones can be useful during protests, since using a phone for organisation, coordination and communication during a protest is certainly not nothing.

Does it make more sense now?
