Trump's promised ICE raids have begun

Real problem is the Graphics from massive raids is going to be terrible and The Trump team damn well knows that.

Heck, I can even imagine them picking up kids at random. Citizenship can be sorted out at the detention centre and then the innocent ones can be released, no harm done. They might even 'accidentally' send someone whose family has been in the US for generations to some concentration camp just to meet quotas or brag to their fellow fascists about how many they are detaining.

They could even do punitary grabs. Pick up kids with outspoken anti-Drumpf parents, or teachers with anti-Drumpf views. East Germany had a nice system where kids could rat on people they didn't like and they'd disappear. Good job, Pierce, you helped apprehend an illegal alien, have a day off and three merit points. What's that, your child is a legal citizen and you still haven't heard from her for three weeks? Trust the system, processing takes time.

I try to take solace in that Beau of the Fifth Column video where he holds up a piece of the Berlin wall and says it reminds him that others have been through tough times too and perservered. Nazi Germany fell, the Soviet Union fell, the Drumpf regime will fall. On a long enough timeline, we win.

I am not against enforcing immigration laws, but do it with due process of law..not this crap.

That is, if he doesn't destroy the world itself first. It looks like he's in the process of shutting down all wind and solar energy production and replacing it with good old fashioned coal fired power plants again.

More and more confusion about what happened in Chicago. Now reports that law enforcement officials did show up at the Chicago school, but it was not connected to Immigration. The fog has descended on this bigtime.

If that's where the criminals can be found, why stay your hand?

Schools are places of education, not sanctuaries for illegal immigrants. If they don't want police on their doorstep, maybe they shouldn't adopt a policy of shielding lawbreakers over their duty to their students and parents.

Yeah, your virtue signaling here is laughable considering that the Felon in Chief, the most corrupted president ever, initiated this rounding up of children whose only crime is being brown. There is a considerable population of Eastern Europeans in my neck of the woods that will never see ICE vehicles parked outside their schools, even though a non-zero number of their parents have overstayed their visas.

Deportations and arrests are not the same thing. We expect there to be more arrests than deportations.

The fact that they were able to arrest and deport over 500 illegal immigrants in 3 days is pretty significant. The fact that they've already made more than 3,000 arrests is also pretty significant.
 
Question is what kind of criminal records?
If it a serious rap sheet; I have no trouble with out they go; but it's abunch of traffic violations.....
 
Now the facts emerge: It was Secret Service, not ICE at the school

Most likely scenario; some stupid kid at the high school, tryint to show how edgy and cool he was, posted a death threat on TIk Tok, and the Secret Service responded' and it got magnified into an ICE raid. And I do not absolve the school officials of trying to play some politics here.
Just more proof you shoul.d wait for the facts to emerge before final judgements.
