So in essence, humanity took the final wrong turn because some snowflakes had their feelings hurt (especially men). And all that on the height of human, social and scientific evolution. At the time when an unprecedented amount of knowledge was available to an unprecedented amount of humans. How ironic. Or maybe inevitable. The collapse of information. Too much for the average individual.

The only thing that may save us from now on might be an A.I. which is taking over.
 
The next Presidential election will be interesting, because the next dem candidate will have learned from trump's lying ways and put it to use against whomever runs on the republican platform. The problem for the republicans will be that they won't have anyone to blame for all the crap that'll happen in the next four years.

And if you listen to the maga weirdoes out in the real world, because according to them, dems are really, really good at lying.

I am very dissapointed but a lot of the pure despair here is, frankly, irrational.
One of the weaknesses of the Left is so many buy into the kind of despair that has been fashionable among the Intellgensia for a long,long, time.
And ,frankly, it is a nice excuse for not doing anything becuase it is useless.

At least there is a chance that some Super A.I. might see and create ways out of the inevitable Climate or WW3 Doom.

American voters made a terrible mistake today, but I don't think it is beyond redemption.
The mistaky you make is that everybody who voted for TUrmp is MAGA. A great many don't like Trump, but though he was the lesser of two evils. They will change him minds. I don't think they voted ot throw out the constituion.
If America does go down, it will drag a lot of the world with it.
