I don't think anyone will be sleeping well in Kiev even if that scenario plays out. One way or another Putin will find a way to get rid of Zelensky and install a compliant puppet al la Belarus.

We'll have to see I suppose. Not a lick any of us normies can do about it now.

You should have hope with Trump... that no more healthy male Ukranians will need to die in a futile war come January. Putin will save face with a Trump deal. Kamala will just extend the war machine efforts.
Putinwill not make a deal with her.

I doubt that, but regardless, if the West did't want that result, they should have given Ukraine the support it needed to win. But they, including Biden, were never willing to do that. And certainly Harris wouldn't.

Zelensky and the people of the Ukraine don't get a say in the deal.
 
It all gets down to a few states, which I think we always knew. This is still a coin flip

Do you honestly think Trump would have given Ukraine the support it needed to win?

The West, as you call it, wants Ukraine to win. European ones way more than us for reasons Pixel42 mentioned.

  • Wisconsin, where an overall result may also take some time
  • Michigan, where a final result is not expected until the end of Wednesday
  • Arizona, where the overall count could take days

At least the TQ teens won't have advocates to permanently alter their bodies with hormones and surgeries. The lgbtq2sa+ left have policies that are straight up Child Abuse. Yes. Real life serious physical abuse on minors that cannot give well informed consent. California actually allows sanctuary for T minors to travel here to get body affirning/altering care without parental consent, and/ or directly against the wishes of the parent.
So wrong in so many ways.

And then people wonder why many in the left ...left the left.
They want to have body altering control over my healthy teen kid? No. I say no.

Funny thing the election is not in my home country, but I live very close to border with it. His tariff policies worry me. Don't know if I will stay up but I will keep an eye on the results.

No, it'll be over soon. The numbers say Trump is performing significantly better than 2020. The projected outstanding votes don't add up to a Harris win sadly.
 
I have worked at polling stations in different levels of Canadian elections. It depends partially on the way they are counting and recounting, if they are using machines it does not take long but if they doing it by hand one time around for even a small amount of ballots it takes time. Right now am waiting for a cheque for election a few weeks ago.
