Kamala Harris Election Campaign

Kamala Harris to make surprise appearance on 'Saturday Night Live.'

There may not have been an October surprise, but Vice President Kamala Harris may pull off a big one Saturday night with the election just three days away.

Harris will make a surprise appearance on "Saturday Night Live," on the final Saturday ahead of the Nov. 5 election. NBC News reported that the Democratic presidential candidate will appear on the show.

Reporters traveling with the vice president rolled up to Rockefeller Center, where the 50-year-old sketch comedy show is filmed, just after 8 p.m. EST and were holding in the crew cafeteria for "SNL" shortly after arriving.

Harris on Saturday campaigned in two key swing states: Georgia and North Carolina. She was set to fly to Detroit Saturday evening, where she is scheduled to have events Sunday in the swing state of Michigan. However, Air Force Two landed at LaGuardia Airport in an unannounced stop in New York City on Saturday evening.
Of course, now that it's being reported everywhere, it won't be much of a surprise now. Guess I'll have to watch, it'll be the first time in maybe 15-20 years I've watched.

Wait... Did Bo of Fifth Column have sex change operation recently???

The figures given:

Female 54.1%, Male 43.7%, and Unknown 2.3%

But party registration hints that the extra females vote republican.

Democrat 37.9%, Republican 36.3%, and the Minor Nones 25.8%

Still, it's early data. Only 37.7 million voted so far, in the last election it was 49.7 million. Need a few more days.

Bumping this again. I’ve recently seen at least two posters enthusiastically announce that they’re voting for Trump and yet strangely I have no takers for this offer.

I’m start to suspect that Trump supporters don’t really support him because of his policy positions…
Well, not the ones that can be said in polite society anyway.

i watch it on occasion. it's a sketch comedy show, so it's hit and miss by nature, but it's basically the same as it's always been. i think it gets an unfair wrap as some kind of unfunny woke show by people that claim to never watch it. just saw a bit last week where they had a cookie shaped like a boob they were squeezing and then they sprayed white frosting all over it. on the woke can't do that lame family friendly comedy show.

Beau was having burnout, so "Belle" took over the presenting.

Yes, she finally came out as trans, we're very proud of h--

Actually he burned out from overwork and his wife took the reins. Go to the channel and scroll until you find the last vid by him and it'll explain. Basically he admitted he's been a workaholic and that he should've listened to all of us viewers who kept insisting he took some time off or release fewer videos a day.

Edit: I see someone beat me to it.

As Rufus T. Firefly said

"I suggest that we give him ten years in Leavenworth, or eleven years in Twelveworth."

I just watched Kamala on SNL.

It reinforced how refreshing it could be to have even a scintilla of joy and humor emanating from our president. Compared to what Trump brings to the table.
See also Walz and Obama, who seem to genuinely enjoy banter with each other.

This is a real offer: I will donate $100 to a charity of their choice if anyone claiming Trump is better on policy can cite one of those polices and a) explain in detail the net benefit of that policy and b) use only his words or official campaign materials as a source.

I don't want to see any Trumpsplaining. I want to see you quote Trump's statements on said policy and then defend his exact words.

And again, details please. "We need to close the border" isn't a policy position, it's a slogan. You would need to provide details on how the policy of closing the border would be carried out and why it's a net benefit, as Trump or his campaign has explained it.

Once you've met all those requirements, you can provide a link to your charity of choice and I will provide a receipt for the $100 donation.

Another day, another bump for all our unusually shy Trump supporters. I saw one poster express excitement about Trump's position on reducing the national debt, and yet that poster doesn't want to make an easy $100 for their favorite charity by simply explaining Trump's position on reducing the national debt. Weird.

Dedicated Centrists will spout the view that "both sides are equally bad" but all too often they fall in line behind the person furthest to the right.
It's just a necessary outcome of what one has to do to reinforce the "both sides are morally equivalent" position. To use a dated reference, if I wanted to promote the idea that Goofus and Gallant are on equal footing, it must be the case that I downplay the errors of Goofus and lie about the accomplishments and character of Gallant. This should sound very familiar.

Voting comes down to finding an argument that supports your gut preference, and you might in extreme cases be persuaded to re-examine your premade decision if you encounter overwhelming evidence that goes contrary to your priors.

And you're voting for Trump
I do wish you people would stop making assumptions.

The inability to comprehend that I can detest most of the approaches taken by progressives without somehow transforming into the completely and utter opposite is baffling. FFS, people, I despise liver but that's not going to make me turn vegan.

It's funny how she insists that she supports Trump because of his policy positions, yet pretty much every policy position she describes herself as having is the opposite of Trump and Republicans stand for. It's almost like she's a one-issue voter (anti-trans).
It's funny how I don't support Trump so the rest of your post is ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊. It's funny how when you completely make ◊◊◊◊ up about other people, it lets you say whatever the ◊◊◊◊ you want to and feel justified about it.

Just stop already.

They are CLEARLY not anything I agree with Trump on, and your very particular trimming of my post just so you could try to get a dig in is transparently childish.

You know what else is childish? Making claims without supporting them but people still do it. By people, I mean you.
