Cont: Luton Airport Car Park Fire IV

A hybrid that is not a mild hybrid. A hybrid that is capable of driving on electricity alone. Sorry if my terminology is imprecise. If you have a more accurate term i will happily use it.

Ok, thanks; 'full hybrid' seemed like a contradiction in terms to me.

This is not personal information.

You claim the initial vehicle in the Luton fire could still have been a hybrid and that the owner was entirely unaware of it. This is patently absurd. Nevertheless you say it is reasonable because you drive a hybrid whose driving experience is indistinguishable from a pure ICE. This is not credible. In order to evaluate it according to the evidence, however, we will need to know the make and model so that we can draw our own conclusions.

The only non-Toyota Japanese auto manufacturer that made a manual-transmission hybrid is Honda, and they quit making it in 2005.

Because you lied about them. We think you're also lying about your car.

Stop falsely accusing me of wrongdoing.

Actually, not mine. Bum on seat, press brake, put into gear, off you go. I've had it 18 months and I'm still reaching for a non-existent ignition key. But we digress.

Ok, I did say I was guessing. Still, it does seem strange to me; what turns the car on, opening the door or pressing the brake?

2023 is a partial answer. What is the make and model?
Only mild-hybrids come as full manual transmissions (as opposed to semi-automatic “paddle” transmissions. I seem to recall vixen stating she has a sporty number with a clutch pedal, so a mild hybrid is most likely.

So your choice in the UK would be a Ford Puma or Fiesta, Kia Stonic or a Suzuki Ignis. There is also a Hyundai Tucson suv which I wouldn’t describe as sporty.

Frankly I couldn’t be bothered wasting more than 2mins search so didn’t look for further models in Scandinavia or the EU.

ETA : oops, what Andy Ross said!

Stop falsely accusing me of wrongdoing.

You are a proven wrongdoer. However, that is not the issue. What is the issue is your insistence—once again—that your experience is somehow very different than everyone else's, perhaps even singular. And we're supposed to simply take your word for it.

Please provide the make and model of your car.

So you accept now that the fire started in a diesel car? Not an EV or hybrid of any sort?

For you, it's always been a case of 'The Fire Chief says we think at this stage in is a diesel vehicle' and your trying to bulldoze me into bending to your will that therefore it has been established as a fact, before the report was even out or the investigation completed, and on day one when the embers were still smouldering. You kept trying to make out I was not allowed to show any curiosity, as a pretext for mass flaming.

This is not personal information. I drive a black 2015 Audi A3 2.0 L turbo with a Tiptronic transmission. Can you identify me from that information?

You claim the initial vehicle in the Luton fire could still have been a hybrid and that the owner was entirely unaware of it. This is patently absurd. Nevertheless you say it is reasonable because you drive a hybrid whose driving experience is indistinguishable from a pure ICE. This is not credible except in certain extremely narrow cases. In order to evaluate it according to the evidence, however, we will need to know the make and model so that we can draw our own conclusions.

The only non-Toyota Japanese auto manufacturer that made a manual-transmission hybrid is Honda, and they quit making it in 2005. The 2023 Civi SI offered a sort of clutch that would connect the ICE directly to the drive train, but this absolutely does not qualify as a driving experience indistinguishable from an ICE.

Because you lied about them. We think you're also lying about your car.

Your information is not correct so please now apologise for falsely accusing me again of wrongdoing.

Proven wrongdoer, how and when?

Your information is not correct...

Supply the correct information. What is the make and model of your vehicle?

...so please now apologise for falsely accusing me again of wrongdoing.

No.

I have not falsely accused you of anything. You lied about your credentials. You lied about Carol Vorderman. The premise to your argument regarding hybrids is your personal experience with your hybrid. Since it defies discernible fact and everyone else's knowledge, and since you are being evasive, it is reasonable to suppose you are also lying now.

I try not to give out unnecessary personal information on social media. You've seen how badly I was bullied over qualifications.

You were not bullied, it was pointed out that you lied about them. Repeatedly. This isn't bullying.

Details of your car are not personal details. You cannot be stupid enough to believe they are. Stop dodging and answer the question.

Your information is not correct so please now apologise for falsely accusing me again of wrongdoing.

Pathetic attempt at deflection. No Vixen, you won't shame your critics into stopping asking you questions. You've made a very specific claim about your vehicle that seems to contradict reality. Supply the requested information so this contradiction can be resolved.

I drive a black 2022 Ford Focus ST It's hardly sensitive information

What lies?

All we're asking for is the make and model of your car so that we can verify your claims. If you would simply provide the requested information, the discussion could proceed. But upon your insistence we now seem to need to delve back into your personal history of unreliable and dishonest reporting, all so you can whine about how badly you're being treated and how everything is some kind of personal attack against you. And that then distracts from you having to support your claim.

Simply provide the information we asked for. No need for a song and dance.

How about answering the question. Do you now accept the car was a diesel, not an EV or hybrid?
