Yeah, but what amazes me about that logic is that it's not even connected. I mean, if some guy hates gays and goes and shoots up a gay bar, or if someone hates abortions so they shoot up an abortion clinic, or if someone hates Jews so he goes and shoots up a synagogue, I can at least see the connection. Mind you, it's still not justified, but I can see how his little demented brain made the connection. Not agree, but at least see the connection between "hate A" and "punish A".

But in this case, I'm supposed to think he hated A, so he went and shot some people who had nothing to do with A, so somehow it's A's fault. Like... WHAT? Forget Samson, I don't see how even Colt's brain could make that connection.

Agreed.

The kids are so furious about being told to tolerate trans people, they decide to shoot each other? We have no reason to imagine Colt felt that way other than Sampson's insistence it must be so.

But if you've made being bigoted against A your entire personality everything has to be seen through that lens. It would be literally not possible for this act to not have been about A in some way for someone who thinks like that.

I mean, I know that Trump is a habitual liar, but I had to wonder what sort of people are so shockingly asinine that they would believe something that obviously untrue - who would be so determined to hate all trans people that they would willingly accept such a blatant lie, or at least fail to call it out as the manipulative ******** it is? But then again I wonder who was stupid enough to believe that Jews were abducting gentile babies and eating them.
