In all fairness, Harris doesn't have to or should she say a word about the incident. That's what allies do. Before Trump came along, there were certain things and certain things a Presidential candidate wouldn't do or say. They wanted their candidate to look Presidential, statesman like. But that doesn't mean they weren't done. They would have others do it, like allies and the VP candidate. The VP candidate is almost always the designated attack dog.

But you have to snicker at the irony of Trump campaign projecting their mistake of politicizing fallen warriors by accusing the Harris of politicizing the incident.

This hard-hitting investigation is just asking questions about why the Vice President didn’t mention the McDonalds gig when she applied to be a summer law clerk at the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office in 1987. Instead, she included stints at Charles Schwab, the FTC, a senate internship, and clerking at a law firm.

Well, seems like she's ashamed of working there - hence leaving it off her resume - that makes her an elitist who hates ordinary working people.

Donald Trump on the other hand is a man of the people who does his best to ensure the success of fast food franchises. :rolleyes:
 
I hope they don't come after me. My CV as a 40 year IT professional fails to list the 2 summers I worked as a labourer for my local parks department. I'm fairly sure that any job in IT that is interested in my skill with a scythe (yes I'm good) is not one I may be interested in according to my lawyer.

An unearthed home video captures Vice President Kamala Harris swearing as she teases her niece about her lack of cooking skills.

The clip, featuring the 59-year-old Democratic presidential nominee, was posted to X on Wednesday and shows her preparing chicken while her niece, Meena Harris, peppers her with questions. "You need to ********** learn how to cook instead of video taping me," she says at one point.

At one point, Meena asks, “What exactly is the process of this juice?” prompting more playful banter. "Come on honey, Harris says reciprocating the playful tone. "It's a baster." The next clip in the video features a closeup of the chicken as Meena continues asking silly questions while giggling. "What are you doing now?" she asks.

"Caramalizing the onions Meena," the VP responds. The giggling niece urges her political aunt to "tell her more as she places the metal tongs down to move on to the next step. "You need to ********** learn how to cook instead of video taping me," Harris playfully snaps back. "I try to teach you but you'd rather be a video tape person."

Harris removes the chicken from the oven, displaying crispy brown chicken breast to which the intrigued Meena exclaims "yaas" The final product is one breast paired with a cup of brown rice. "Look at that," Meena says in the TikTok. The camera quickly pans to Harris and her husband Doug Emhoff as the VP says "get in my belly."
