It occurred to me that the post I was replying to was on topic and my snide comment about getting back on topic was inappropriate. So I removed that part.

Senator Vance hasn't questioned Governor Walz's military service. He's questioned Governor Walz's own characterization of his military service or inaccurate descriptions of his military service from journalists and others that he allows without comment or nods along to in interviews.

Yes, the topic is the inappropriate attacks on Tim Walz. So maybe stop trying to distract from MAGA's deplorable behavior against Walz and his family by pivoting to your already-failed attempts to drum up sympathy for J.D. Vance.

I don't know anyone talking about anyone's underage children. I've scolded people on this forum for making negative comments about Baron. It's out of line. Now if the kid starts making speeches attacking others, have at them.

But until then, people need to STHU.

Ive already stated that I was a non-combatant myself in post #157 in this thread. I'm sure I've never intentionally allowed or implied any misconceptions about my service or rank nor would I do so for political advantage or value.

My opinion is all relatives that do not get involved beyond giving moral support should be off limits. I wouldn't dream of attacking Vance's wife. But if she started giving policy speeches or attacking others she would be fair game.

I don't like Coulter in the slightest. But I'll give her credit on this one for realizing fairly quickly she had stepped over the line and deleted the post. That means she does have a conscious. But I'll return to my point. If you are conscious enough to recognize you made a mistake why the hell compound the mistake and shift the blame to others?

Call me old fashioned, I like me politicians who don't try to get the VP hung on a gallows. Walz was performing the role he claimed he was performing and getting paid for it.
