Kamala Harris Election Campaign

Just a reminder, Harris officially became the nominee only 2 days ago.

Just a reminder, Harris is a grown-ass adult and a career politician. She's had literally years to figure out her policies. What has she been doing in the White House for the past three years, if not thinking about what she'd do and how she'd do it?

What exactly were you trying to remind us of? That Harris is an idiot, who only realized two days ago that she might want to come up with some policies?

The 2024 Dem platform was released July 13. Lots of specific initiatives and legislative goals. It's a document developed by many voices and sources of input -- it would be very strange, to say the least, if Harris wasn't invested in it.
Harris is obviously the most vacuous candidate in American history.
She is to be celebrated for this. It is not necessarily an indictment because the machinery of state is robust and America will be the greatest nation in the history of the world when we are chilling below the sod.

Wheres I think this might be the most inane thing you have posted in this thread.

Thank you, now go back to defending "I never never read Project 2025. I like something sion it. The people who wrote eighter currently work for me or did so in the past. Also, my Agenda 47 matches it almost perfectly. But I have no idea what it is".

What does that even mean, "invested" in it?

She didn't draft it. She wasn't even the candidate when it was drafted. How much input did she actually have on it? Possibly none, no one was obligated to listen to her when she was just VP candidate. Now, there tends to be quite a bit of correlation between the positions of people within the same party, so I'm not claiming that it's got nothing to do with her positions (she is still a democrat), but the party platform still isn't HER platform.

Disagree strongly.

In what way? We have no interviews yet. She has no policies promoted and has faced no tough question inquiring into why or about them. That is not a healthy position for the press.

Hey, how about those January 6 crowds, right? That was the headline that day.

There is difference in reporting something to dispel the implication or to find out if it has substance. If you watch current cable news, there is far more of the former than the latter when it comes to democrats.

Because the rapist you simp for is lying. Dispelling those leius is part of journalism.

It's like Jake Tappers interview with Welz where he highlights general liberal policy hes passed and asks if he thinks it will help or hurt him with Trump. It's endorsement, not reporting.

The false narrative pushed by the mainstream media, including Tapper, is that Democratic policies are not popular in "real America". Addressing someone who proves that narrative false is part of journalism.

She is wisely remaining a chameleon that can fill the void of whatever voters believe her to be.

And she's better at it than Shady Vance. That must really hurt the LEgion of Weird's feelings.

This would not be possible with a normal situation as the primary would have forced her to reveal this stuff already.

Or if the oppoisiton wasn't a raving luantic who is selling the country out and trying to stoke a race war.

Now the talking line seems to be that obviously we will have to wait for the convention for her policy positions to be revealed. Complete nonsense but is working for her so can't blame them.

Which come sout first: The Harris Campaign's official platform, or the Orange Weakling's Big Beautiful plan to replace the ACA?

You clearly have no understanding of American history.
Harris is a blithering idiot but the state will survive and prosper.

Perhaps we’re in a situation where inanity is a feature and not a bug.

And it’s meant to simply stir the pot, rather than advance any real philosophy, argument or point of view. And in that respect, it continues to be effective.
Maybe describe some ineffable qualities you find in the candidate.

Which is why we have peak Harris about now.

That's wishful thinking. It might be true and it might not. It's not about her. It's about us. And what we want vs what the other side wants. Elections are never about a single candidate. (Unless they're running unopposed) it's a choice.

My father use to often joke that some specific election was a choice between Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum and he didn't have a favorite Tweedle. But this isn't that. One shouldn't be under some illusion that this election doesn't matter.

This election matters.
Trump and Harris don't matter.
The direction of the enlightened west truly does matter.
Harris is attacking full frontal the way the west was won, and wishes to turn it over to the Islamists, and the various cults.
I am a profound Atheist, and wish Americans would grow up and ignore abortion.

"I DEMAND HER POLICIES" from a bunch of people who have spent the last 6 years simping for Trump, a man who has never had a thought, much less a policy.

She's a functional adult and she's making people whose entire personality is "I'm going to be the most insufferable person ever" just adorably edgelord mad so I'm good.

Gibberish.

If that; it aspires to gibberish.

Gibberish.
Sure.
But you could elaborate on at least one word or phrase.
I am truly fascinated by the candidate. She is the nadir, I listen to a thousand articulate people day to day, and Harris is demonstrably and verbally a catastrophic simulation of a presidential candidate.
Jesus would weep.
I must be missing something.
Tell me your best take on why you hope she has the nuclear codes and the presidential veto.
