Kamala Harris Election Campaign

Your posts need to come with a 'choking hazard' warning label: Do not read if you are drinking or eating.

I thought BIDEN was the worst candidate in history according to Trump: “[Biden] is the worst candidate in the history of presidential politics”

That sound you hear is the exploding of irony meters around the world.

Ali basically claims Harris was a DEI hire and she repeats the GOP claim that Harris being the new candidate was somehow underhanded in the conservative NY Post : "Instead of invoking a quasi-democratic process by opening the convention and inviting debate within the party, a back-room coalition of Hollywood kingmakers and party elders cut off any possibility of a conversation about the future of the party." "Anointing someone other than the ultimate identitarian—a black, a woman, a creature of hard left California politics — would have shaken the party to its core, even as it offered the palpable possibility of reforming the Democratic Party, truly turning it into the party of moderation, of the center. "

You're just parroting the GOP rhetoric. No surprise there. That's basically your MO.

Harris wasn't a "DEI Hire". She wasn't hired at all. She was elected. As VP, as AG in California.

And the part about undemocratic processes - I guess they never read the Democratic Party rules. Delegates don't even have to vote for who they pledged to when at thte convention.

There's something almost childlike in how you people love to exaggerate so much.

Okay, I'll bite. What makes Harris the worst candidate in history? What negative qualities does she have that no candidate before her possessed? Please, regale us.
Good questions, but they need to be framed in such a way to minimize evasiveness. Or if not minimize, make the evasion painfully obvious...

Samson, if she's "completely inarticulate" there must be numerous specific examples you can cite. Please provide three or more precise quotes, and/or links to youtube along with timestamps that indicate where the inarticulation is.

Normally I'd wait for an answer at this point. But due to your track record of evasiveness, I'll add... If you fail, it will be even more obvious that you're mindlessly parroting Trump and his racist minions, while actually having not a clue about Harris.

By the way, if I made a claim about how inarticulate Trump is, I could provide specific examples until the cows come home.

Kamala Harris is the worst candidate in history.
She is completely inarticulate and you all know this but have crowned her mindlessly.
Ayaan Hirsi Ali condemns her policies with surgical skill, but her analysis is off topic.

Good luck to you all.

Are you flouncing? How unfortunate! But you can use the extra time to get professional mental help. Good luck to you!

True. Tell that to the Republicans that keep calling her a "DEI hire."

Rep. Harriet Hageman of Wyoming called Harris a "DEI hire" and referred to her as "intellectually, just really kind of the bottom of the barrel."

Republican Rep. Tim Burchett suggested President Joe Biden selected Harris as his running mate solely because she is Black: “One hundred percent she is a DEI hire,” he said, referring to diversity, equity and inclusion.
“This trap they've created for themselves of Kamala, the DEI hire, it's not going to be very popular with the average American,” former Trump official Sebastian Gorka said on Newsmax.

Lauren Boebert called her a “discredited DEI hire.”

'DEI' is the latest GOP trigger word that must be repeated ad nauseum.

Have you picked out a gown yet for the presidential bawl?

There are some states where they do.

Are you thinking of electors in the general election? I didn't think the Democratic party divided rules up by states.

 More ignorant, biased, pronouncements.

Utter rubbish. As usual for you.

but have crowned her mindlessly.
Another of your lies.

Bollocks.

Good luck to you all.

There may be State laws that require delegates to vote for the candidate that won the state's primary election. (At least on the first ballot)

As far as I know it doesn't. But states occasionally have laws that affect primary elections (though there are also cases where party bylaws supersede state law). For example:
https://ballotpedia.org/State_election_law_and_delegates_to_national_conventions said:
(Arizona)

Delegates are bound on the first ballot to vote for the candidate who received the most votes in the state primary election unless that candidate releases them or "withdraws" from the race. After the first ballot, delegates may vote as they choose. Ariz. Rev. Stat. § 16.243.

I believe that's the case. There will be at least two ballots to formally nominate Harris. The final ballot will be unanimous.
