Cont: Luton Airport Car Park Fire IV

Vixen may genuinely not realize that she is lying. We may be assuming a consistent thought process behind her posts that actually does not exist.

I'm not assuming Vixen has a thought process much less a consistent one.

It may surprise you that some of us live by high ethical principles. I can only imagine therefore that you judge others by your own standards.

Where is it 'lying' to quote the FOI provider's own word's 'As of this time'?

https://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?postid=14339395#post14339395

It says, "At this time, we can confirm..." This is the opposite of leaving a caveat. The response is saying that they have received enough information to confirm that the vehicle was a diesel.

You lied about the contents of the book Sea of Death regarding the Wilhelm Gustloff.

You lied about the fire service only having one press release.

You lied about seeing the IRA mortar attack on Downing Street.

You lied about being a scientist when you're an accountant.

You were dishonest about your science education.

You lied about having a psychology postgraduate degree.

You lied about your interlocutors mocking the dead of the Estonia disaster.

Goodness, guys, can we not stray into Vixen's various sins in other threads again? You know that this will rightly be put into AAH soon enough.

Do we really have to use words more appropriate to a children's playground?

I have asked you many times whether or not the statement, "The fire started in a diesel vehicle, not an EV or hybrid," was false. You have pretended that it depends on who makes the statement.

Taking out the word "lie" hasn't helped get you to commit to an answer to what is really a very simple question.

Given that there is (according to you) good evidence that the fire started in a lithium battery, there simply must also be good evidence that the statement "The fire started in a diesel vehicle, not an EV or hybrid" is false. I have petunias that grasp logic well enough to understand this point.

Yet you have a curious need not to answer the question.

With my highlighting:
Even if this wasn't the case and she had never failed miserably at attempting science her own admissions, when we finally get them, show her to not be a scientist. She has admitted that she has a graduate degree in psychology but no further education in STEM and that she works as an accountant. That's not being a scientist.
I might be misremembering, but my recollection is that she has claimed to have done post-graduate work that was somehow equivalent to having a graduate degree but was not actually a graduate degree, and was somehow equivalent to doing post-graduate work in some field of science despite not actually having much to do with any field of science.

The evidence that Vixen has lied about her credentials in science is her utter inability to demonstrate any sort of scientific competence. Despite her denials, I am competent to judge that, and my judgment is suitable enough to have legal effect in binding the state to award degrees. Her insistence to the contrary that she has a STEM degree is thus not a very good example of her alleged high ethical principles.
Here I would caution that the world in which we live does contain a few people who have been awarded a STEM degree despite their "utter inability to demonstrate any sort of scientific competence." In particular, I would point out that not all STEM degrees are S degrees.

I am not suggesting this particular person holds any kind of STEM degree.

I am guessing you do not give much thought to the meaning of words that you bandy about willy-nilly. Thus your word usage weakens whatever it is you want to say because it is all hyperbole.
It's really quite hilarious to see those words coming from someone who, to this day, has been unable to understand simple English sentences such as

Is the Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service lying when they state, quite clearly and unequivocally, that the fire started in diesel-powered car?

Do we really have to use words more appropriate to a children's playground?

I'm picturing children dancing around in a circle on the playground, mockingly chanting: "Unequivocally diesel-powered, unequivocally diesel-powered..."

Nonsense.

In an official press statement, and also in direct reply to an FOI request, they have clearly stated that the car was a diesel. This cannot be dismissed as a rehash of the October press conference.

I think this deserves repeating again.

"Please could you tell me if the fire at Luton airport multi-storey car park was started by an electric vehicle

"Following the fire at London Luton Airport terminal car park 2 on the 10 October 2023, a multi-agency investigation is currently being conducted. At this time, we can confirm the vehicle involved was a diesel-powered vehicle. To further clarify it was neither a fully electric vehicle (EV), a mild hybrid electric vehicle (MHEV) nor a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV). More information on the incident and cause of the fire will be released once the investigation has been concluded."

While we're at it, I'm curious; could you highlight the words you think are more appropriate to a children's playground?

I'm still laughing at the ludicrous idea of a chartered ********** accountant being tasked to carry out a Health & Safety assessment of her offices as part of her "vocational training". Did someone mention fabulations.....?

To be fair to Vixen for a moment (and sorry for the late post)...

Last place I worked, in the 10 storey building, there was always at least one person called the Safety Officer or something like that. They did a short H&S course (longer than the one we all did) and once a week they would don a high-viz jacket and do a 'survey' of the building - they had a clipboard with a check-list: No blocked doors or passages, stairs clear, no dodgy materials left lying around, no missing fire extinguishers. That sort of thing.

Maybe Vixen's safety assessment got her a hi-viz jacket and clipboard and she's bigging up the experience a bit?

The only consistent thought process is: "I am never wrong. I am never ever wrong, even in the smallest of details, let alone the big picture stuff. I am never wrong. LALALALALALALALALALA."

Here they are again:

I certainly recall walking past a children's playground recently where one of the kiddies was using the word "unequivocally".

Similar thing at the places I worked, a box ticking exercise for management basically usually assigned on the "Who can we spare?" principal.

It was the "vocational training" part that was making me chuckle. I know very well that the inadequate junior in the office whom nobody else likes very much can get tasked with being the named health & safety representative.

I'll bet you a quarter not.

Especially as a "white paper" in Westminster parlance is the term for the publication of a bill being put before the House to be discussed and voted on in order to become an Act of Parliament.

A charitable explanation is that "order paper" is what is meant. Or some other daft claim of "popular usage" in a way jo-one has heard used previously...

Oh well, I had this reply from Beds Fire & Rescue Service, giving me the bum's rush.
