Well then employ people in sufficient numbers and build sufficient processing centres to do so. Because with the lack of effort being made to make immigration unneccessary, the problem's going to get a lot worse.

By "closing" the border you're simply making the job fixing it harder.

But the thing is, while the Dems have been big on talking about reproductive rights, they haven't done much to secure them. They've had occasions where they had sufficient support to enshrine them in legislation and make it harder for them to be removed and they've never done so. Even with all their talk about having to protect them they haven't pushed the importance of voting for people who would do so come election time or to persuade people such legislation is necessary (in fact the Dems are absolutely woejus on communication generally, they don't trumpet what they've done and they do far too little to emphasise what they want to do).

So while they're better than the repugs, for too many they're not better enough.

Yes, I support critical race theory. Because it provides a foundation and theoretical framework for understanding race-based prejudices and bigotry that spills over into the socio-economic milieu.
