According to the article, the court is saying that a main factor in their decision is that there isn't really substance to the complaints.

Several complaints against Cannon “question the correctness of her rulings or her delays in issuing rulings” in the classified documents case, the judicial council’s opinion said. Those complaints included allegations “unsupported by any evidence” that Cannon has an “improper motive in delaying the case,” according to the opinion.

Other complaints called on the 11th Circuit Court’s Chief Judge William Pryor to remove Cannon from the classified documents case – an action that that judicial council said that neither he nor the council could take.

Pryor has considered and dismissed some of the complaints because they did not provide sufficient evidence that any misconduct by Cannon had occurred, according to the order.

What Cannon's doing and Cannon's biases may be obvious, but that's not necessarily enough to move everyone. For a case that should be an open and shut one, though, the handling has long been absurd, regardless.

The Republicans have clearly understood that if you control the judiciary then you can do whatever you want.

The Democrats were too busy trying to win by following the rules to notice that the Republicans have been busy ensuring that they will continue to hold power even if they cannot get a majority of the vote.
 
and pretty soon they won't be able to win by the rules since the republicans next step is to change the rules

Yeah, I hate to sound like that conspiracy guy, but it almost seems like the way it's going is, "Oh shoot, he's losing all his court cases, we can't let this go to trial and need to shut it down"

Oh man, I'm not sure you can say that around here. Lots and lots of people around here think Trump is going to win because polling that's still *checks watch* 5 months before the election are showing Trump is leading in swing states! I think Trump is going to lose and lose by a decent amount, but I guarantee you'll get called on this one.

Don't think so.

If Biden wins he probably Will pardon Trump for wherever he can.
And without DOJ support, many State cases might be on hold indefinitely.

If, on the other hand, Trump wins, efforts of States to get him will continue.

Primarily, because Biden won't care what happens to Trump, and a Pardon would make him look like A Great Statesman - or so he thinks. And Biden has been desperate for Republican approval all his career; pardoning Trump would be his way of saying "come on, Jack! We are all friends here!"

It's not like Garland thinks convicting Trump is important.

I don't believe any of this is true or is reflected in Biden's actions in the least bit. If he was concerned about Republican approval then why wouldn't he pardon him now, before the elections? On what basis are you saying Biden wants Republican support? Garland brought on a special investigator to go after Trump specifically, why would Biden pardon him AFTER spending the money on the investigation? I don't think any of this is true at all.

I don't see any motive for Biden to pardon Trump either, but money's got nothing to do with it. Biden doesn't care about money wasted on the investigations and prosecutions. It's not his money. If he had some compelling motive to pardon Trump (and I agree that he doesn't), the money spent wouldn't even enter his mind.

But that is not his job.
The logical thing would have been to bury Trump in everything he can be charged for and let the Judges decide what sticks and what doesn't.

Remember that Garland was picked by Obama for the Supreme Court, because he had so much support among Republicans and would easily have been confirmed - which is why McConnell didn't let a vote happen.

And Biden is singlehandedly responsible for Clarence Thomas making it past his Confirmation hearing.

You are absolutely welcome to your opinion but most of this isn't true either. Federal prosecutors, and special investigators don't just throw **** at the wall and see what sticks. That has never, ever been the case, and I see no reason why it would start now. The logical thing was\is to do a thorough investigation and make sure the charges you bring will withstand appeal so that the special prosecutor doesn't look like a stupid jack ass that's bringing charges for politically partisan reasons.

Also, Biden isn't single-handedly responsible for anything unless he was the only one that could vote. If not the rest of congress was just as responsible as he was, or else you could go to each and every person and say the same thing about them.

yes, he absolutely is.
He actively suppressed, then sabotaged Antia Hill and her testimony.

Read up on it - Biden knew more than anyone else about how Thomas was a sexual predator to many aides, and could have tanked his nomination.
But that wouldn't have been "bipartisan".

sorry, but this is just a historical fact.

Maybe read up on it.
