Mr. Sunak has done everything by the book. If he is allowed to make his business interests blind then he is not committing any wrongdoing in doing so.

Asked and answered. If they are blind then he cannot know what actions "in the national interest" will benefit him or not. You're specifically claiming he's acting in his personal interest and that of his wife.

What is needed is a good investigative journalist...

You are not that person.

Incorrect. The Prime Minister has the power to issue an embargo on anything he likes. Hence we never got to see the Russia Report or the Bullying Report. Likewise, Parliament allows the Monarch complete secrecy in many areas in which the rest of the population are not. If the PM decides it is against national interests to name the make, model and type of vehicle involved in a serious incident then that is what is adhered to all the way down the chain, including the national press. Sunak has the power to and as it is not illegal, it is not corrupt. There is nothing conspiratorial about it. I wonder if people understand what conspiracy theory means.

False. The PM only has the power to embargo information that is related tot national security - for example, Thatcher embargoed much information while the Briths Navy were on their way to the Falklands in 1982. He also has to justify that action to Parliament. Only in a time of war does the Prime Miniter have carte blanche to silence the press.

At all other times, he can request an embargo, but it is not enforceable.

You're claiming it's not in the national interest, but in his personal interest. You haven't shown that not naming the make, model, and owner of the car is the result of any embargo.

Pray enlighten us.

Tata JLR is bring 4,000 jobs to the UK and at least £500m of taxpayer's money has been paid to Tata to build EV's and a lithium car battery factory. Of course you do not want any spanner in the works or signal to the markets (and the EV buying public) that there are any concerns about the brand or the batteries. That is the national interest the government can argue for putting a block on news that might cause concern.

I can see several conflicts of interest here but none of them are illegal ones.

Now juxtapose muck with brass.

Nothing to do with 'work hard and it'll be lucrative'.

No one is claiming that's what it means.

Why have you invented a third meaning that no one is applying?

The correct meaning of the phrase including it's historical roots has been provided. You are yet again simply wrong.

That is the national interest the government can argue for putting a block on news that might cause concern.

Asked and answered. You need to decide whether Sunak is acting in the national interest while blinded to his personal interests—by the book—or cheating and pretending the national interest is actually his known personal interest.

I can see several conflicts of interest here but none of them are illegal ones.

I don't care what you can imagine. I care what you can prove with evidence.

When the final report is issued and states, as it inevitably will, that the fire originated in a vehicle with a diesel ICE, Vixen will fall back on the "truth" having been suppressed by Sunak. Thus maintaining the source of aggrandizement.

Same as it every was...

Your memory is letting you down again.

Read my original post explaining why I believe information is being withheld. Sunak himself said he had no working class friends. The whole ethos of the press releases seems to be 'it wasn't an EV and that's all you (the public) need to know'. It is well known that the anti-EV stereotype is of a reactionary SUN reading ignoramus who hates Khan and ULEZ. Sunak OTOH is not known for being transparent about his very lucrative financial affairs. So yes, there is almost certainly something in it for him and his wife to protect the JLR brand IMV. As a UK taxpayer this attitude annoys me.

If you cannot see that the current UK Prime Minister is possibly the most corrupt of corruptist Prime Ministers of all, then nothing I can say can help you. When Sunak was elected by party members, I was on his side. I was fooled by his seemingly alert affability and ready SOH. His family, too, seemed adorable. As a business person, I understood the concept of maximising profit and optimizing how little tax one should pay. However, I am also a strong believer in ethics and ethical and transparent behaviour in politics and enterprise, and it is patently clear that there is a D-Notice on reporting EV fires, in particular, any of the Tata JLR brand. I know that time will prove me right.

What is needed is a good investigative journalist to bring all of this out and find out what the issue is with JLR vehicles and the connection with the two car park fires. Likewise, the fire at Bristol and the one at Gatwick North Terminal - said to be 'accidental ignitions' and rumoured to be EV-caused fires, yet never revealed to the public.

Why the scare quotes? Accidental ignition would mean that it was not arson - you know, 'intentional ignitions'.

It is if, as you have repeatedly claimed, it is done to protect the PM's, and his wife's, personal investments. You are alleging corruption, and your misquotation, "where there's brass there's muck" followed by an exhortation to "follow the money" was a clear attempt to imply that there is corruption involved.

Sunak has regular meetings with key personnel, including the security agencies, together with a whole team of special advisers. That doesn't mean he doesn't also have personal interests because one's spouse does not count. Sunak sold his Infosys shares to his wife, so now he is free to give Infosys a huge contract, yet remain completely innocent of breaking the ministerial code, which requires declaration of interests and conflicts of interest.

So it is quite possible he or his wife being close acquaintances with Mr. Tata to consciously or unconsciously want to protect the Tata JLR brand. The way around it IMV is to declare the name, model and make of the vehicles that started the Luton fire.

Show us the embargo order.

Even then, she's still wrong; while there was some bartering, coins were still in circulation amongst the whole population in feudal times. https://castellogy.com/history/medieval-money

Did you see the section that reads:

At the other end of the social spectrum, many of the rural poor would not have earned a wage in the modern sense of the word, instead relying on farming their land, selling some of their produce, and in some cases providing non-free services to their manorial lord, working on their lands, providing goods or other services. By the 14th century, perhaps only a third of the population earned a wage in the way we would recognise it today.

I thought you said he was doing it because it was in the national interest.
