Evidence he did just that HERE (Newsflare 3 minute video)

It seems he took part in several press interviews during the morning after the fire, fielding questions from reporters etc.

In that link he says, clearly "off the cuff", that.....

"The early intelligence is nothing to suggest that it was anything other than an accidental fire and it wasn't an electric vehicle so far as can be seen......"

Compus

Of course he talked and took questions. Nota bene at the 1:44 mark, when he pauses and begins to stutter. He is clearly remembering what it has been agreed he will say.

The convention with press conferences is to send out a written press release before, at the same time, or after the press conference, because not all journalists can be there.

Here in the attached. Mr. Hopkinson is on that morning setting up his stall for the press conference.

What a joy it must be to be blessed with such a vivid imagination! Have you considered writing fiction for profit, rather than just amusement?

So does a fire spreading among multiple vehicles containing a variety of flammable substances.

BF&RS have stated that it has been confirmed that the fire started in a diesel vehicle, and not in any type of EV or hybrid. Was their statement true?

I will only accept an official press release, not an edit or clerical amendments to the only press release to date, which was on 11 October 2023. The next official document will be the Report itself, unless there is a press release in advance to explain the findings of the report.

Firstly, the video of the vehicle from the from has never been authenticated and the number cited looks very different from the short form number plate taken by the Romanian lady from the back, i.e., it is claimed to be a six-digit one and one which pre-dates lithium car batteries.

Secondly, I grant that the aforesaid lady may have been filming from quite some distance away which gave an optical illusion of the far field being on an incline. However, that does not make the claimed number plate in the front view an authentic numberplate.

It has been confirmed by the fire service involved that it was a diesel powered car and not any kind of electric vehicle.

There is an official press release of the fire service website that says it was a diesel vehicle and not any kind of EV or Hybrid.

Why won't you accept that?

Is it your position that when BF&RS said that it is confirmed that the fire started in a diesel vehicle and not in any type of EV or hybrid, they were not telling the truth?

Listen again.

Andrew Hopkinson very clearly states, 'subject to verification'.

THEY HAVE ISSUED A PRESS STATEMENT SAYING THAT IT HAS BEEN VERIFIED.

That is the statement I was asking you about. Answer the question, please.

The highlighted is untrue.

The most recent press release from BF&RS was published on the 21st of March 2024. It is the one that contains this line:

The vehicle involved was diesel-powered – it was not a mild hybrid, plug-in hybrid or electric vehicle.

But you already know this.

Here's the ******* press release, dated 21st March 2024: https://www.bedsfire.gov.uk/news/fire-airport-car-park-started-accidentally

It says, "The vehicle involved was diesel-powered – it was not a mild hybrid, plug-in hybrid or electric vehicle." In case you're having trouble understanding it, it's a ******* unequivocal statement that it was not an EV or hybrid.

Are you claiming that it is not true?

What is all the crap about 'smart' and 'intelligent'? As far as I am concerned, 'smart' means well-dressed and intelligence has several different meanings. I have never made any claim to be either, whether others consider I am or not.
Intelligence may be out of reach but, with help from a fashion consultant, you and I both might someday look smart.

Most fashion consultants have enough intelligence to understand the following quotations, but—as has been demonstrated—a sufficiently motivated and clueless armchair conspiracy theorist might not.

It has been confirmed by the fire service involved that it was a diesel powered car and not any kind of electric vehicle.

So much wrong in one sentence. It's almost brilliant!

Wrongness is Vixen's particular talent that she is so proud to put on display for us in this forum. My estimate is that a minimum of 50% of Vixen's total posts here contain information that is wrong.
