That brings us back to a couple simple, but powerful questions. Who is "the fake news?" How can you tell? How can one tell the difference between confirmatory lies and unpleasant truths?

You have been the victim of fake news on more than one occasion. I've seen your posts repeating nonsensical fake news claims such as the "Trump forgot his wife's name!" nonsense and others. Does it ever anger you that the fake news headline made a fool of you by tricking you into repeating their lie?
 
I'd be less angry and embarrassed by believing a false news claim occasionally than by knowingly following a proven pathological liar. A liar who has rocked the very foundation of our democracy by falsely claiming an election was stolen from him because his borderline personality disorder narcissism can't accept losing. A man who is a serial adulterer, brags about being able to sexually assault women because he's a 'celebrity', and now has to pay almost half a billion dollars to a woman he sexually abused. A man who has made clear he's out for revenge on anyone who he deems wasn't loyal to him, and who pardons criminals he does deem loyal to him. A man who insulted John McCain's service and years as a POW in Viet Nam by saying "I like people who weren't captured" and allegedly called soldiers who died serving their country "suckers" and "losers" but who never served a day in the military due to "bone spurs" which never stopped him from playing golf.

Following THAT man should embarrass anyone with a shred of honesty.

But that's true. The filthy **** did call the white supremacists very fine people. I know he said he didn't and his supporters like to spread the lie that he didn't but the claims of Trump or his supporters need not detain us.

Almost seven years of denying that he did and yet no one can say who exactly he was talking about if not white supremacists and people comfortable enough with white supremacists to attend a white supremacist rally.

Listening to that whole clip I have a change in my belief. He said good people on both sides but he also excluded neo-nazis and white nationalists from the people he was referring to.

I struggle to thread the needle between someone being comfortable hanging out with white supremacists and also being a “very fine” person. Who is that person?
