Exactly as expected.
While I despise Luxon, there's no doubt Labour had failed miserably in so many areas it makes me sick that I campaigned and voted for them.
From immigration, to housing to infrastructure to employment laws, Labour screwed up at every opportunity. We are still spending $1,000,000 a day on emergency housing by placing families in squalid motels and that has to stop.
National will actually fix some of the problems - they've already turfed out the insane trial period law that saw large employers unable to use it. They're cutting red tape and inviting foreign investors to build for rent.
My last hope is that Labour have a complete clean out, re-build by returning to their roots, move away from the insanity of trying to take up every liberal cause, and become government again in 2029. I don't think there's a hope in hell they'll do it by '26.
